24.01.2022 To our valued customers We are still open as normal (6am to 9pm 7 days) and are still offering customers full self service operations. As we continue to monitor the regularly changing guidelines of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we will update recommendations here, as they come to hand and relate to the laundry industry. 1. Please keep attending - every customer is valued and important to us and our economy. As a small family business we rely on our customers.... 2. Please make sure you keep yourself safe. Unfortunately as our laundromats are unattended, we cannot leave out any hand sanitiser (as it gets removed). We sanitise the surface areas and handles each day, but you need to wash or sanitise your hands after touching these surfaces, as we cannot control who has touched them prior to you. 3. After you have loaded your laundry into the washer or dryer, please take your basket and other belongings and return to your car or wait outside. Whilst we have a large internal space area, this will ensure we can continue to comply with the current indoor gathering restrictions. 3. Call us if you have any queries or concerns. We can be contacted until about 10pm daily on 0405 190 160. In Australia many retail outlets are closing due to restrictions. Going by things in the wider community (the world), laundromats have been deemed as an essential service and permitted to remain open. We believe laundry is an essential part of everyday life and will continue to maintain QUICKIEMAT LAUNDROMATS to the highest standards of hygiene. Richard & Michelle

22.01.2022 My name is Allen Thomas and I am looking for my son and daughter, whom I've not seen since they were lost to me over 40 years ago. I was an American soldier in ...South Korea, met and married their mother, had our twins, and then lost them when I had to return stateside and she would not return with me, or allow me to take the children. By the time I was able to make arrangements to go back for the children and fight for custody, she had adopted them out and would not give me any information regarding their whereabouts. I have been searching for decades, unsuccessfully; but have decided that perhaps Facebook could help me to find them. Please pass this around and help me find my children. Thank you. Fraternal twins boy & girl born in Seoul, Korea, at Songnim Gynaecology, Namyong-dong, Seoul, on September 10, 1967. The twins were adopted out by their mother in the late 1970’s. Their names were James Allen Thomas and Sandia Lynn Thomas. The mother’s name was Sun Kun Thomas, born December 5, 1942. Father, Allen Thomas, was U.S. Army. We have photo’s, birth certificates, and other legal documents. Would very much like to find both children. See more

06.01.2022 The end of an era after nearly 14 years, we have sold our laundromat located at Coomera. Next time all our wonderful customers visit there please welcome Shelly and Charles. And a very big thank you to my staff Jo, Anne, and Sharee for making sure our customers were happy.
