25.01.2022 A dad and his girls. What's not to love when you're chasing your little ones around a paddock on a Saturday afternoon!?

25.01.2022 *SNEAK PEEK* A beautiful moment with mother and daughter. These two were so sweet together, a wonderful bond of a little girl adoring her mum and both loving each other deeply.

24.01.2022 What a BEAUTIFUL in home session to end on before Christmas~! I love these guys so much, we've known them for quite some time and it was an absolute pleasure and an honour to be asked to photograph their lovely little family. Little Hamish is only 4 months old which was the perfect excuse for Kaitie to ask me to photograph them in their first family home.... I haven't done an in home session for a while and I am in love with their tall ceilings and loads of late afternoon light. If you have an old house with high ceilings, please ask me to come and photograph your family! I love those old houses, especially when they've been renovated beautifully like this one.

24.01.2022 Hi!! Just wanted to say hi to my new followers and introduce myself. My name is Quietta (pronounced key-etta) and I love taking photos of people! I love beautiful golden light in the late afternoon, eating yummy food - mostly Mexican or Greek, and I always order a Long Mac topped up when I go to a cafe. Which is regularly.... I have a husband and two kids, who you will probably see on my stories most weeks. Pictures of us at playgrounds or the beach mostly. I am a massive fan of the ocean and will always photograph there whenever I can. Especially at sunset. The best time of day. Im a pretty happy person and I love to meet new people, especially if youre from a country other than Australia. I like finding out about different cultures and hearing the language. I really want to go to India one day, because their food is delicious but it also really intrigues me. So let me know who you are! Id love to hear from you. Do we have anything in common? . . . #perthphotographer #perthphotography #perthisok #perthmaternityphotographer #perthfamilyphotographer #perthmaternityphotography #perthfamilyphotography #maternityphotography #maternityphotographer #maternityfashion #lateafternoonlight #perthgirlboss #perthgirlbosses #supportlocal #naturallight #perthlifestylephotographer #perthlifestylephotography #naturallightphotographer #mumtobe2020 #mumsandbubs #supportlocalperth #perthcreatives

23.01.2022 Can someone please explain to me why people hate having their photo taken? Because clearly I have no understanding of that concept whatsoever! This is me four years ago(!!) absolutely loving life. I grew up with a hobby photographer as a dad so my sisters and I got used to dad taking photos of us all the time. And now were totally used to it, and are all very comfortable in front of the camera. ... Id really like to to get a deeper understanding of what people are afraid of and why cameras are such a scary thing. I think it would really help me to improve as a photographer and therefore help YOU relax and be able to enjoy getting those all important family photos done. So, do you think its being the centre of attention thats scary? Some fear that the images produced will be different to their perception of themselves? People just feel awkward and dont know what to do with a camera aimed at them? People are shy? Theyre worried about what they look like? I cant think of anything else....if youve got some ideas, comment below! I love to know!

23.01.2022 AAAAANNDDD we're back on peeps! Like a boss babe, I figured out the issue with my website and we're strolling in the park like this lovely lady. Oh yeah. That's me. ... (But let's be honest, I couldn't have done it without my ever helpful husband.) Photo by my daughter, Lilyana, 6 years old.

23.01.2022 I absolutely LOVE photographing this family! They are always fun and the twins are super cute and cheeky. (Also, Charlotte's red hair <3 ) Perry's Paddock is a fantastic location to photograph in as there are so many little nooks to find and explore. The kids love being able to roam free and mum and dad can relax knowing there's not a road nearby, just clean open air. Maternity sessions are my FAVE!!!! I can't say this enough! Pregnant women are SOOOOOO beautiful, whether the...y feel it or not. That big round belly, the pregnancy glow. It really is a thing and I adore capturing the JOY at this precious time. See more

22.01.2022 These two are always a delight to photograph and I'm so excited I get to capture their newborn session this time around too! I love that they ignore the fact that I'm there and cocoon themselves in their own little world. It is such a joy to see couples like this relishing in the moment together. In other news...I'm off on two weeks holiday today, so if I'm a bit slow replying to any messages, just know that I'm laying on a beach somewhere in WA, drinking a cider as my kids run around and make sandcastles. And I'll get back to you at some stage :-)

21.01.2022 I don't have time to write a long an interesting caption today, but this is my absolute favourite image that I have taken in the last 3 months, so I wanted to share it with you. It was partly a fluke and partly because I'm an amazing photographer! I love the golden sunlight glinting in from the side, the position of Ally in the frame (rule of thirds - always a winner! if you don't know what that is, ask me) and the way Ally is gently standing there in the sun, awaiting the arrival of her precious baby. Okay, that's it. Have a good LONG weekend~!

20.01.2022 Some photos NOT from Perry’s Paddock for a change! I’m still loving these photos from beautiful Ally’s pregnancy session last year. The light was stunning and Ally’s white dress contrasted beautifully with the golden sun and blue sky. ... I think dresses are the perfect choice if you’re having a maternity session as they compliment your bump, especially if they’re long and flowy they can create movement which always looks fabulous and flattering! Also great if you don’t know what to do with your hands, you can hold onto the side of your dress and no one will know if you’re feeling nervous

19.01.2022 The secret to photographing boys?? DONT LET THEM SIT STILL. If you are a mother of boys, you will already know how adventurous they are, that they love to explore and find interesting and sometimes disgusting things.... They love talking about poo and toilet jokes. But you know what? LET them. Thats how they relax and have fun, and THATS how you get the most authentic photos of your family. Just like this gorgeous family of boys. I could tell it was going to be impossible to get them to sit still and smile sweetly at the camera, so I gave up on that idea and just rolled with it. But I LOVE the results and so did their mum. Have you got boys? What weird and wonderful things do they love doing outdoors? . . . #perthphotographer #perthphotography #perthisok #perthmaternityphotographer #perthfamilyphotographer #perthmaternityphotography #perthfamilyphotography #maternityphotography #maternityphotographer #maternityfashion #lateafternoonlight #perthgirlboss #perthgirlbosses #supportlocal #naturallight #perthlifestylephotographer #perthlifestylephotography #naturallightphotographer #mumtobe2020 #mumsandbubs #supportlocalperth #perthcreatives @ Karrinyup, Western Australia

19.01.2022 Men!! I'm looking for some outgoing red haired men (and boys) to be a part of my Gloriously Red project. My project aims to encourage the wider community to accept and love each other's unique differences, and for more red haired boys to be confident in themselves. ... I already have lots of women interested but would love the ratio to be a bit more even! Tag someone you know who is Gloriously Red.

17.01.2022 When people tell me they don't like having their photo taken I take it as a challenge! I use the opportunity I have been honoured to have been given and use every moment to make that person feel comfortable, to laugh and to relax. And then I give them 45 photos that they will absolutely LOVE and hopefully, slowly, I will change people's minds about themselves.... I have a gift, I think, to see the best in people. And I often think women (especially if they're pregnant!) are beautiful even if they don't think they look it. I hope that I can show you how beautiful you are. Inside and out.

17.01.2022 Happy Father's Day to my amazing husband who is the best Dad to our beautiful children. He is fun, engaging, thoughtful, encouraging, supportive, patient, kind, loving, helpful, sympathetic, humble and has the best Dad jokes! We love you to the moon and back.

16.01.2022 Nathan and Linda's story came with a dramatic start. Along with friends, the two of them went away camping for the weekend, which was all fine, until Linda desperately needed help setting up her tent, and later needed a repair man to help fix a hole in her tent that a storm had tore in the middle of the night. Luckily, Nathan was there at her time of need. He also bandaged her knee when she literally fell head over heels for him in the bush. The rest, as they say, is history.... I loved hearing this story told so eloquently by Nathan at their wedding reception, as Linda playfully flicked his ear in joy and embarrassment. The two of them are very playful together, which is so beautiful to see and made my job super easy. I've been pretty quiet on here the last few weeks as I've been hard at work editing their beautiful wedding. Linda and Nathan, I am sure you are going to love your images~!

16.01.2022 Review time..! "We loved having our family photos taken by Quietta! She put us all at ease, and we had a really fun time on the shoot, which we weren't expecting, since we generally don't enjoy having our pictures taken. She tailored the photos to suit our family, which made it feel really special. The photos are gorgeous - beautiful scenery, and we love how she's captured our family's personality. It's not just that the photos are beautiful, but that the memories of taking the photos were fun in themselves, so they are very precious to us."

16.01.2022 I honestly CANNOT wait to photograph red head beauties and beaus again!! Its probably the actual worst day to post this with the terrible weather outside but I dont care! I want to plan a Gloriously Red session for spring when even more restrictions will be lifted (Im sure!) so that we can have a big red party!! @mc_events_co I might need your help ... Red head peeps. Tell your friends. I want everyone to be there! Lets celebrate our differences and see how they make us special. I personally LOVE being unique and I want you to love it too! Who wants to come hang with me and my camera? Tag a red haired friend.

15.01.2022 I am SOOO excited that on Sunday I get to photograph my first maternity session in 5 months!!! Gosh what a long time it has been and I can't wait to get my creativity on. I hope we get another sunset like this one from the other night. <3

15.01.2022 ~G L O R I O U S L Y R E D ~ A project to highlight every person's unique individuality, and encourage the wider community that being different is wonderful and lovely, and should be embraced. Though each of these beautiful women are unique in their own way, they all agreed that instead of bullying and name-calling, compliments and treating people with red hair the same as everyone else is what they really want.... I agree. Receiving a compliment is much nicer than a harsh word. I wonder what would happen if instead of judging someone based on their appearance, they asked them questions and got to know them instead...?

14.01.2022 *SNEAK PEEK* The second I saw this photo straight out of my camera, I gasped. The light, that round pregnant belly, the waves rolling in. I just love it~!... Katie your images are nearly ready and I can't wait to show you. You're going to love them

13.01.2022 This is me! HELLO!! It’s been a little while since I’ve shown my face on here so thought I’d stop by and say hello! My name is Quietta and that’s pretty much the only... name I like being called, except for my parents and a couple of friends who calls me Qui. Please don’t call me Q coz I really don't like it Anyone else have a nickname they hate?? I love photographing people, especially pregnant women. I love the glow they exude and the excitement, hope and anticipation. I photograph for the @australianbreastfeedingproject and adore capturing beautiful memories of mummas breastfeeding their babies. Check out their page if you’re breastfeeding and need support or want to be a part of this awesome project! I love summer and love the feeling of being hot I would never live in the middle of Australia because I need to be near the beach. My soul needs it to survive! I have a husband who I adore, two children, a boy and a girl and I love my little family as it is I drink my coffee strong, every day of the week, and my favourite thing to do on the weekend if it’s not beach weather is find a new cafe and a playground for the kids to run around so I can cuddle my husband and have 5 minutes peace together Tell me about you! What are you doing today?

13.01.2022 The divine Katie and her beautiful baby growing inside. I can't wait to hear the wonderful news!

13.01.2022 Family photos. Why? What a wonderful way to forget about everything that's going on in the world right now, and just spend one precious hour with your family, laughing, hugging, and making memories.

12.01.2022 Tomorrow (5 November) is National Red Head Day. I'm asking everyone I've photographed in my Gloriously Red sessions to change your profile pic to your favourite photo of yourself, showing off your beautiful red hair! Red hair should be admired not belittled. ... Every person is unique in their own special way and I LOVE that everyone is different. We can still respect each other and build each other up despite our differences. I'm unique because half my hair is naturally curly and the other half is straight!! How funny is that?!? I'm also unique because I have a loud laugh, try to see the joy in most things, love the ocean at any time of the year, I like coffee but not tea, am not particularly fussed by politics, I enjoy spicy food (especially Indian!) and I love Jesus. What makes you unique??

12.01.2022 Two weeks until my next Gloriously Red session! Why should you come? To hang out with other red haired people, feel part of something special, to know you are unique and loved!... Celeste and Alys Patullo <3 <3 <3

11.01.2022 Oh gosh! I just realised it's been a whole month since I've posted anything on here! To be honest I find it a bit overwhelming having to think of things to post all the time. I also hate the idea of posting exactly the same thing on Facebook as I do on Instagram, and lately I've just been posting on Insta. I like it better over there. It feels more personal. It feels like I'm talking to my friends in my lounge room, not like on here where it feels like I'm on stage in front o...f a thousand people. Anyway, what I wanted to show you is some of the photos I've been taking in isolation, before the rain came and before Lilyana went back to school. It just goes to show, you don't need the perfect backyard, or the perfect house to be able to take lovely, natural, joyful photos of your family. You just need the right light. What have you been doing in isolation? Got any cool pics you can show me?

11.01.2022 Do you have friends that are expecting a baby? I have some tips for when you’re visiting for the first time, some from my own experience and some from others.... 1. Most importantly, (this is obvious!) don’t go if you’re sick! Even if it’s just a runny nose. Trust me, you don’t want to be the one to get the newborn baby sick!! 2. Take a meal, or if you can’t do that at least take some snacks, as making dinner or afternoon tea is the last thing a new mum will feel like doing. She will just want to soak in her brand new baby and focus on feeding and taking care of their new family. 3. Offer to make the tea or coffee when you get there. A few times I got so overwhelmed by the concept of having visitors because I was expected to make drinks for everyone when all I wanted to do was sit down! 4. Only stay for about an hour, less is fine but definitely not more - that’s long enough to have a cuddle, find out how the birth went and make sure the new parents have everything they need. 5. Offer to stop by the shops on your way over. I had someone offer to do that for me when my daughter was born and it was SO helpful and really took the weight off my shoulders about having to have milk in the fridge or bread in the freezer. 6. Be encouraging. Tell your friends they are doing a great job and to keep going! Everyone can do with a kind word every now and again and it’s not hard to say you’re amazing! Hope that was helpful. Anything else you would recommend? xxoo

09.01.2022 REVIEW TIME..! Quietta was so lovely and quickly made us all feel at ease. My three young boys were really hamming it up for the camera but she didnt let their silliness bother her; instead she channelled their excitement into authentic and beautiful images. We are so pleased with our family photos and they get so many compliments.... THANK YOU Georgia for that lovely honest review. These boys were really challenging to capture, but I think you'll agree they're very authentic and beautiful images.

09.01.2022 Couldn't help but post this gorgeous little moment of beautiful Katrina and big-sister-to-be Charlotte from my latest maternity session.

08.01.2022 Repeat clients are my ABSOLUTE favourite! I know that they trust me wholeheartedly to create and capture beautiful memories of their treasured little ones, and so they are relaxed and easy-going. This is the divine Katrina and her brand new little baby Cleo.

07.01.2022 WHAT SHOULD I WEAR??? Something I often get asked is, what should I wear to my photo shoot? I always say avoid patterns and logos, but this doesn't mean that everyone should wear white either! ... These are some of my favourite families who have chosen the perfect balance between co-ordinating but not all looking exactly the same. Everyone has their own personality and this should be reflected in your family photos. If you hate dresses and would never normally wear a dress in your everyday life, then don't! Also, if you love bright colours (like me!) and that's the sort of thing you always wear, go for it! Just make sure you're the only one and everyone else is wearing something a little more subdued so you don't clash. If you're having an extended family session, with aunts/uncles and grandmas, it's a good idea to choose three colours that everyone sticks to. Just like the first photo here, where everyone still looks like an individual but they're not clashing. Anyone else got any tips that they've learnt from personal experience?

07.01.2022 Just because we all need a bit of joy in our lives at the moment...this was back from last year.. I adore photographing this family! They are so much fun! Isla clearly gets her stunning curly red hair from her gorgeous mum Brighid, who I have photographed as part of my Gloriously Red project. The kids, Callum and Isla have a beautiful relationship - fairly typical of a brother and sister, but also very loving. When Callum fell over just before we starting shooting this sessi...on, Isla ran straight over to him and gave him a big cuddle to make him feel better. It was such a sweet moment. And even though Brighid and Ryan are fairly shy in front of the camera, they are also super cute and I loved being able to get photos of just the two of them together. It doesn't always have to be about the kids!

07.01.2022 I would have LOVED to have planned another Gloriously Red session for the next month or so, but with all the fear and anxiety that is going on in the world with the Coronavirus I don't think that's a wise idea. I want to be a responsible business owner, and planning a large group event is not going to help anyone right now. I will keep you all updated once everything has calmed down and it is safe to meet in large groups again. Until then, keep being your glorious self! We will get through this and everything will be okay. xo

06.01.2022 Can you believe Katie and Ryan have never been professionally photographed before and they've been together for ten years?! I was so stoked to find out I got to be the first person to take professional photos of them in all their time together. They're absolute naturals!! If you're unsure how you'd go being photographed, rest assured I will make you feel completely at ease and we'll chat and laugh and have a great time. ... I want you to feel completely comfortable being yourself so that I can capture you at your best. If that means snuggling up with your partner and just keeping cozy, then that's totally fine! And if you and your family laugh super loud (like me!) and run around and go crazy, then that's awesome too! Joyful moments are what I always strive to capture, so if that's your style, let's chat! [email protected]

04.01.2022 This is me, currently doing the horrendous task of trying to figure out why my website is down and how to fix it. Trying my best folks!

03.01.2022 I'm just wondering, is there anyone out there that would like to be part of my Gloriously Red project? I'm trying to plan another session if there is enough interest. Please comment here or PM me. Thanks! (Boys welcome too!!)

03.01.2022 When the sun comes out after the rain..... It is a glorious thing! Last weekend I photographed a series of mini shoots as a fundraiser for Woodvale Primary School P&C and it was a huge success. I have many more beautiful images to share with you.... Stay tuned! See more

03.01.2022 You might wonder why...but I LOVE this photo!! I love the flick of sand flying up at Jordan's feet with the sun shining through. I love the glow of the sun on the ocean.... I love how far apart Jordan and Lilyana are from each other because Jordan is racing straight for the water and Lilyana is waiting for her daddy. I love the the texture of the sand. But most of all I love the realness of it. The raw beauty and the joy of being at the beach in late summer.

03.01.2022 ~ G L O R I O U S L Y R E D ~ I loved photographing these kids! Look at them having fun together! It will be so lovely for them to have these photos when they're older, to look back on and remember a fun, sun-filled childhood. ... Maybe they'll remember that the wind was howling and despite how warm it looks it was actually really cold here, but no-one can tell so who needs to know?! See more

02.01.2022 Why do photographers always choose the worst time for family photos? Ie. Witching hour? Because it’s actually golden hour and is literally THE most beautiful time of the day. Every time I am outside around half an hour before sunset, I will gasp and say out loud oh it’s SOOOO BEAUTIFUL!... Golden hour is called that because the light from the sun actually turns a gorgeous hue of golden and is so soft and lovely. It just makes everything look magical. So next time you’re outside about 5:30/6pm, have a look and see if you can notice the difference in colour of the grass and the trees. It will amaze you. . . . #stopandsmelltheflowers #stopandlookaround #perthphotographer #perthphotography #perthisok #perthmaternityphotographer #perthfamilyphotographer #perthmaternityphotography #perthfamilyphotography #maternityphotography #maternityphotographer #maternityfashion #lateafternoonlight #perthgirlboss #perthgirlbosses #supportlocal #naturallight #perthlifestylephotographer #perthlifestylephotography #naturallightphotographer #mumtobe2021 #mumsandbubs #supportlocalperth #perthcreatives

02.01.2022 I haven't shown my face in a while, so just wanted to pop by and say HI! Despite secretly loving being in front of the camera, I always end up a little bit awkward because I hate standing still and as a photographer I know that it looks best to keep moving, thus this photo! If you don't know me, here's what I love: Jesus! I'm an avid Jesus follower because He brings me hope, confidence in myself that I am known and truly loved, and joy! Sunshine... the Ocean, whether I'm swimming or not. I just love it Coffee and chocolate but not together Correct grammar. Wearing bright colours Going out to eat Eating Indian, Greek and Mexican food, anything spicy My husband and two kids Smiling at strangers Listening to CD'S Red hair Do we have anything in common? What do you love?

01.01.2022 Oh her smile! What joy to be the recipient of such a smile. I've never met a red haired lady that didn't have a gorgeous smile. It must be their thing.

01.01.2022 (In a nutshell.) Delightful. Exquisite. Unique. These are some of the words that come to mind when I think of people with naturally red hair. To me, red, auburn, and strawberry blonde hair, is one of the most beautiful things in the world!... If you are lucky enough to be one of the 2% of the worlds population who are red haired, I want to photograph you!!! Lets show the world how beautiful and unique you really are, and enjoy our differences. (The main story.) Everyone is different. There is no-one in the world that thinks exactly the same as you, believes exactly what you do, or has exactly the same experiences as you. Out of all the billions of people in the world, YOU are the ONLY person just like you. Everyone wants to believe that there is something special and unique and rare about them, and I think there is! I want to bring to light and show the world how different and unique every individual is, by photographing red-haired beauties. Red hair is fairly rare, so what a way to show the world who you are! This is for everybody men, women, boys and girls. I want to photograph as many different ages as possible. So, you gorgeous strawberry blonde, auburn and red haired people, COME AT ME!! I want to meet you. I want to know more about you. I want to know your stories. What are your thoughts, opinions, beliefs, experiences, achievements, aspirations? What makes you YOU?
