25.01.2022 To all the dear friends, fellow quilters and customers of Quilter's Barn you may have noticed not much quilting activity on Facebook in recent months :( Julie Wallace, founder of Quilter's Barn, was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour in April this year and has been going through extensive treatment for the last few months. We wish to let you know that the family is still continuing the business, albeit at a smaller capacity, for the coming future. Block-a-month quilter...s are having their blocks sent as per usual. In the coming weeks and months, we will be having some online sales on the Quilters Barn website and also have a one-off sale at the Barn. We will keep you updated through the website and via the newsletter. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their continued support to Julie and her business, and for the love, thoughts and prayers during the last few months. 23.01.2022 A big HI to all the patchworkers out there! Thank you again for all the lovely messages sent to the family - we are so appreciative for all the love and support from everybody over the last few months. Just to let you all know that we are having a Quilter's Barn Sale in Loch on the 20th and 21st of September 2014. The sale will be held at the Quilter's Barn Warehouse behind Simply White (the old Quilter's Barn Shop) at 35 Victoria Street Loch. The sale is from 10am-4pm and includes many fabrics, quilts for sale (Julie's quilts and unfinished projects), antique quilts, antique sewing machines, patterns, kits, Quick Patchwork papers and much much more! 17.01.2022 The incredibly talented, intelligent, gifted and loving Julie Wallace, founder of the Quilter's Barn, sadly passed away today at lunchtime. She was an inspiration to those around her and made the most out of every situation. Her passion for her family, travel and the patchwork/textiles industry will be a source of hope and motivation for everyone who's life she has touched. A true genius and we love her for that. The family would like to thank everyone for their well wishes, prayers and thoughts over the last few months and we will keep everyone posted with regard to funeral arrangements. 12.01.2022 Thank you everyone for the lovely messages, prayers and thoughts for Julie :) A number of people have queried, and to also just keep everyone updated, that Quilter's Barn is still operating as normal through the website quilters-barn.com. The family are still operating and completing all the block-a-months, cutting fabric, making patterns etc etc. as mum instructed. We will continue to keep everyone updated as there are some exciting events and sales coming up in the near future.

09.01.2022 If you are at all bored this weekend - please free to come down and visit the Quilter's Barn Sale at Loch! We will be located in the warehouse behind 35 Victoria Street Loch. Open 10am-4pm on Saturday and Sunday. Approximately an hour and 20min from Melbourne. We look forward to seeing you there. :) PS: there is also a HUGE Antique Fair at Loch this weekend for those of you who love Patchwork and Antiques! :)

08.01.2022 Thank you to all who came along to the Sale on the weekend! So many familiar faces, so many fantastic stories and shared memories with mum over the years. A truly inspirational woman and we love her for that. The response was truly a blessing and apologies that we were not quite prepared for the mass on Saturday morning! But thank you all... It means so much to have and see so many of you there :)

02.01.2022 All ready to roll. Lots of bargains. I have reduced all 30 cm Yuwa fabrics now $6 were 9.50. All Yuwa linens $10 were $17. 60. After years of travelling to France and sending "colossimo" home full of linen tablecloths scarves souliado and les olivades fabric and table centres. I have decided to sell them all at good prices. Also selling some of my sample quilts from my books and Bam And patterns. Come and stop by and check them out
