25.01.2022 I posted some info about polished concrete on instagram the other day and the feedback was positive. So I thought I'd post the info here too. While some of you might think that polished concrete only comes in a soft grey finish, you might be surprised to learn that concrete is extremely versatile and has many colours and finishes to help create a continuous palette throughout your home.... Getting the right feel and finish involves consideration when choosing the grind level, concrete mix and surface finish. Then there's the aggregate exposure to also consider which is the amount of sand and small stones that are visible underneath the surface that can really make a room come to life. My client here has chosen a nil exposure finish which means little to no stones showing. They wanted a clean, crisp coastal feel to their home with a simple and minimalist outcome. See more

23.01.2022 Whoever said that larger is better hasn't seen this cute, pint sized coastal home. It only has a 40 square meter footprint but it uses every inch of the space in a clever, minimal way. I help clients plan for a renovation using 2D and 3D drawings to assist them in visualising their transformations. It provides an opportunity to look at a space and reconfigure it for the best design and functionality. I also help with new builds, working directly with a builder and the client.... I assist clients to choose hard fixtures and fittings such as tiles, carpet, flooring, tapware, sinks and cabinetry design. 10.01.2022 I still am in love with this Go2 Homes bathroom. From the clever use of horizontal grain on the cabinetry from Polytec we've created an elongated look. Incorporating tapware from Reece and a functional mirrored shaving cabinet that matches the vanity cabinet perfectly with the use of mirrored panels giving a high quality finish and look.... This bathroom will provide a calming yet practical space for many years to come.

02.01.2022 I haven’t done an introduction in a while, so I thought I’d introduce myself in case we haven’t met yet. My name is Caris Letchford and I own and run the interior design business called Vibe Design Studio out of Mandurah.... I currently help clients choose their colours and selections for new builds at pre-start with their builder and I also work with private clients for renovations and new build projects. At the moment the building game in WA is booming with a lot of builders unable to take on new clients. As I do a lot of work with Builders, that's going to be my focus until Christmas. Which means that unfortunately I won't be able to take on any new private clients this year but most definitely will be able to take on new private clients next year. When I'm not working, you'll find me at the gym or working!!
