18.01.2022 Have a listen to this beautiful track by my friend Gazza ... it'll only cost a pound (well, 1.20 I guess with tax) - as you pay and then listen, have a think about how much talent you're buying for so little dosh! Lovely song, beautifully performed by Gazza and all the musicians.

15.01.2022 The songwriter himself, singing his song (me and my friends mostly tend to listen to the cover by Kirsty MacColl), but including the verse he wrote especially for Kirsty (she wanted to release the song as a single but felt it was a bit short). Nice one, Billy.

08.01.2022 Howdy folks. I don't think many of you are based in the ABC Wide Bay receiving region, but if any of you are you might be amused to know that I will be 'featured' on David Dowsett's programme next week with "The Shuffle". Sometime between 9 and 10 each morning Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, (it's usually around the 9.45 mark) David introduces this little segment ... it's a mix of interview and music, with his guest for the week choosing a song a day, songs that h...ave a special place in their memories. My memories take me back to 4 years of age, 17/18 years old, 42 (years of age, not the answer) and relatively present day. Alas, I am the 'feature Shuffler' at a time when John and I are away from home, not arriving back into the Wide Bay receiving area until after David's programme finishes on Thursday!! Murphy's Law. If anyone gets the chance to tune in (or stream it if you're outside the region but that way inclined - https://www.abc.net.au/radio/widebay/) let me know how it sounds! There were technical hitches in setting up the remote recording and so it ended up with David and I just chatting over the phone (with a slight delay in the system) but he's a delightful chap to chat with. I'll be fascinated to know how it all comes across!!

04.01.2022 I have no idea what's going on here on my page ... I created a post earlier today which FB says was 7 minutes ago (it was nearly 4 hours ago) and I really can't work out if it's appearing on this page or not. It's advertising my video. FB wants me to "promote" it or "boost" it - I just want to "post" it! I've shared it to my personal page (as opposed to my music page) OK but don't know if it's appearing on this (my music) page or not. If any one of you friends out there can let me know whether or not it appears on this page I'd be most grateful. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ...

01.01.2022 I have licences to publish my covers of other people's songs; it seems that will not be enough for Facebook in the future. What is the point of a video of music if it's not to create 'a listening experience'??
