22.01.2022 We at QUT Enterprise are avid supporters of Women's Rights and for this International Women's day we want to formally recognize two of our executives who have been inspirational women in our community! Rebecca Le has been an astonishing person in our community! She was the Queensland Youth Deputy Premier, named Student Leader of the Year in 2018, the Presidential candidate in 2019 for QUT Guild, and has been heavily involved with the Womens Legal Service since 2016! We also ...want to acknowledge Julie Skovsgaard Boritz Laustsen; our events director and an international student ambassador! She has supported women in business for several organisations and most notably worked as the right hand for the womens officer for the council of international students Australia! These two are a testament to what we can do and achieve as we head towards a more even world - a true role model for young women in leadership roles! Shout out to QUT HerHub as well for creating a body that promotes Women Entrepreneurship! This year, we will be hosting our third Startup Weekend Creative Tech - a 54 hour, fast-paced weekend where developers, designers, and entrepreneurs come together to get a taste of startup life and have some fun!
