21.01.2022 Just finished laying down vocal tracks for Jagged Stone and the song is coming along hot and strong. Anthony Vitale is the front man for the band and he gave his all to get a strong powerful sound. I recorded Anthony with a AKG 414 B-TL ll. Its a great mic. ran it straight into the Neve Pure Path with a little compression to add a bit of strength. Then into the Yamaha DM2000 to send to Digital Performer. Signal flow is so important to put in your head, because these days with... digital you don't get to see were you are. Hope you enjoyed, will be recording guitars soon so stay tuned

17.01.2022 Hi to all our Friends and many thanks for all of your support currently and in the past. We've got some exciting things coming up in the next few months and with this I would like to Introduce 2 new colleagues' which have joined forces with us at R & R Recordings Studio. Michael Grafton, takes on a new role of Technical Lecturer. Michael comes to us with a wealth of knowledge in Electronics, Sound Design, the uses and applications of Digital Audio Workstations, a technician a...nd lecturer, and currently teaching at Ultimo TAFE. Kat Davy is our Studio Manager. She is a Singer/Songwriter/Musician. Kats Passions include Videography and Photography, Social Networking and Music. All this and with Marketing and Networking skills, she's going to be invaluable. Kat is your first point of contact, and she will look after you. Don't forget we have our special package available and we have 4 places left. We start recording mid April. Get in while you can! 04.01.2022 The "Loveless" are in the studio this Saturday 4th November recording a track purely on analogue. Recording it through my Tascam M-600 modified desk then to the Tascam ATR-60 16 track 1" multitrack. This is how things were done in the past, and the sounds were awesome. It should be a fun and rewarding day for all. I'll keep you posted on the result. Thanks for listening

01.01.2022 Hi everyone. A few days ago we laid the vocals for Jagged Stones new song, now its the guitars. Kieran (kizza) has a strong hot sound and I thought I'd capture this with a good old set-up with an AKG 414 and a SM 57. both on cardioid patterns and @ 90* to each other. Gee, I love working with people who come prepared, rehearsed and all the equipment works. I love thanking my clients when they make a job not a job.... Stay tuned for Jagged stones up coming mix
