19.01.2022 This one has me stumped ..... the mediation bundle. I am constantly trying to find ways to add value to the lawyers that retain me to mediate- through the premediation conferences, the FAQs chatbot, post, automated booking system, post mediation reports - but what to do about the bundle? It seems such an administrative burden to put together a brief, with the duplication and time delays in getting parties to agree what documents to send me (which usually ends up being the ple...adings and other served documents). Anyone have any ideas on how I can streamline the process for you???? #mediatorskills #mediation #lawyer #mediation #commonlawmediator #civilclaims #highemotion #personalinjuryclaims #medicalnegligence #institutionalabuse #historicalchildabuse #compensationtorelatives #intentionaltorts

16.01.2022 Two last minute rescheduling of mediations leaves me with two extra days off this week. When I launched R3, this would have sent me into a panic, desperately trying to fill the days with other work. Now, I have learnt to grab these unexpected breaks and use the time to recharge and be still. Funny thing is - it makes me more productive and more effective.... This is where you will find me this week (but with a wetsuit on and a thermos of hot tea waiting for me on the shore). #mediatorskills #commonalwmediator #vicarioustrauma #lawyerwellbeing #selfcare #highemotion

16.01.2022 Online mediation 101 Be careful where you place your coffee cup. Happened to me yesterday but after watching more zoom tutorials than Netflix the last week I know the work around. Only thing I missed was the rest of a pretty good coffee.

15.01.2022 A key role of a mediator is working with the parties to ensure they are always heading in the same directions. A sign of a good mediator is someone who knows how, and when, to make that happen. #mediatorskills #mediation #lawyer #mediation #commonlawmediator #civilclaims
