13.01.2022 Good evening members, Work has begun on several sections of the course with some resulting abnormal course conditions. The following is from the Captain and Course committee regarding play over the weekend.... -Trenches on 4/15, 7/16 and 8/17 fairways as well as behind 2/11 and 5/14 greens are GUR. (Excavated soil and debris is to be treated as part of the trench) -Behind 2/11 green, 2 drop zones have been marked, relief to be taken from GUR to closest drop point. -All other trenches are GUR, and relief is to be taken at the nearest point no closer the hole. (For clarity, if you are in the ditch, relief can be taken parallel on the fairway). -mounded soil on 7/16 is GUR, relief to nearest point no closer the hole. -existing relief from bare patches on fairways on 7/16 and 8/17 remains as posted on the temporary rules board. - 8/17 fairway is defined as being from the trench line on the right across to water hazard markers on the left, GUR relief to be taken from levy. -4 temporary synthetic mats have been installed along the 8/17 fairways, they are available as optional relief locations from bare patches on the fairway, relief must be taken to closest mat no closer the hole. Trenches will be filled in on Monday, your patience and understanding is appreciated whilst we conduct these important works. Damon Burke Secretary
11.01.2022 Congratulations to Euclid Boraine for taking out the Spring Shield.
11.01.2022 4 mats throughout 8/17 fairway plus grass pad. Nearest relief area NO closer to hole. Relief only on fairway which is all areas left of new ditch near gum trees and right of water hazard markers, so rough of new levy is GUR
