19.01.2022 In August 2019, Bugatti broke the 300mph barrier with the Chiron Super Sport 300+ on the test track in Ehra-Lessien at 304.77 mph (490.48 km/h). An imc data acquisition system was on board. This was the first time that a world speed record has been set with a vehicle approved for road use. The car magazine TopGear filmed the record drive - starting at minute 1:31 the speed that pilot Andy Wallace reaches with the Bugatti Chiron is shown on the imc display. The imc display is ...an additional hardware, it is a frequent add-on for imc DAQ systems in driving tests. In autonomous operation mode - the imc C-Series, imc CANSAS, imc CRONOSflex or imc CRONOS-XT are particularly suitable for mobile, distributed acquisition of measurement data in the automotive sector - the display allows the test driver to see the recorded data. Functions created in imc STUDIO, such as start/stop of the measurement, functions for online data analysis with imc Online FAMOS or a selection of predefined test modes can be called up via the control elements on the screen. The awesome speed of the Bugatti Chiron can be viewed here: https://youtu.be/GMYpOit3t4Y More information about the imc systems contact us or visit our website here: https://appliedmeasurement.com.au/

04.01.2022 As today’s factories evolve into more IIoT friendly facilities, there is a growing focus on how sensors in industrial machinery can increase efficiency and productivity. TE Connectivity’s (TE) pressure, position, temperature, speed and vibration sensors play a variety of essential roles within machinery on the factory floor. The functions of these sensors allow facilities to utilize best practices including predictive maintenance, asset monitoring, machine and process automation to confirm decreased downtime and increased profitability for manufacturers. Additionally, TE’s sensors are designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions such as high temperatures or dirty surroundings while still accurately measuring and monitoring machinery.
