24.01.2022 Feeling a bit unmotivated with your fitness at the moment due to winter and coronavirus? What about some fitness workouts that are fully planned for you, you only need to plug in the USB stick or watch my YouTube videos, set up the music and you are set I have choreographed the classes to great music and the louder, the better. Great for motivation ... My fitness workout videos are fully contained with a warm up, the body of the class and then a cool down - no need for you to have to think of anything, it’s done for you! and suitable for all levels of fitness from beginners to challenging! $65 gives you access to 5 workout videos plus a technique video - you can have immediate access via YouTube and I will also post you a USB stick. 24.01.2022 BOXING IS BACK!! and it starts today We will be Boxing at the dam at 5.15pm this afternoon Don't forget that you will need to purchase a set of white cotton inner gloves from me and these with then be your responsibility to keep clean from week to week ... To be able to box, it is also vitally important that you follow all sanitising rules with the gloves and pads - not hard, just different! Look forward to seeing you all this afternoon for the first class of Boxing for 2021. See you there



23.01.2022 Week 1 of the start it up program conquered and what an amazing roll up! Well done to all of you who have committed It is still not too late to join up, we still have another 9 weeks of fitness to go plus + * a naturopath workshop tomorrow with Janelle burns, a qualified naturopath from Roma followed with weekly zoom sessions ... *a ‘happiness’ workshop with Lenny Deeder, a qualified psychologist, next Saturday 19 September followed with fortnightly group sessions *a ‘cleanliving’ workshop presented by Modere on Thursday 8 October straight after class So much on offer and all funded by the Blackall Tambo regional council - thank you This program is for everyone In the Tambo region and if you can only get to bits and pieces, then that is ok too just join up and see where it leads

20.01.2022 Let me introduce Lenny Deeder, a qualified psychologist, who is joining our 2020 Spring 'Change it Up' Program - how lucky are we!! Lenny will be conducting workshops throughout the program in 'Creating your own Happiness'. What an amazing opportunity - our little community is so lucky to have so many knowledgeable people in this program with so much information to expend - it's going to be great! ... There is something for everyone - fitness, yoga, meditation, nutrition & now HAPPINESS!! Thank you once again to the Blackall Tambo Regional Council for funding this program, we wouldn't be able to host such an amazing line up of people without their support! It is less than 2 weeks until the start date - Tuesday 8 September, so make sure you register, don't miss out on such an extraordinary opportunity in Tambo!!

17.01.2022 COVID!! Just to let you all know that I am a Fitness Australia member and with this, it means that I fall under the framework of a COVID safety plan. Things to remember whilst we are all exercising!... 1. Please be mindful of your social distancing you must be at least 1.5 metres away from each other! 2. Please use the hand sanitiser available as soon as you arrive at class as well as prior to departure. 3. To save the spread, I will keep records of each class’s attendance, you won’t need to manually sign in! 4. Please provide your own yoga mat, DO NOT share! 5. Please bring your own water bottle and again, DO NOT share! 6. We won’t need to utilise any equipment in the first 4 weeks and all classes will be outside. 7. If you are unwell, please stay home! Don’t risk the chance of spread. When attending the hall for workshops or classes the rules above apply as well as the following: 1. Please enter through the main hall entrance hand sanitiser will be available 2. Please exit through the western side door hand sanitiser will be available 3. Exercise equipment will be located at main hall entrance for you to collect before making your way to your spot in the class. Upon completion, equipment will be returned at the western exit point. 4. The equipment will be sanitised prior to usage but you will need to wipe down equipment prior to departure wipes will be provided.

17.01.2022 Well that's a wrap on the 'Change it Up' Program - 10 weeks of fitness, meditation, nutrition and mental health! Absolutely amazing! To those who attended, I hope you have all enjoyed it as much as me. Thank you again for your support in attending all that was organised for you - this is what makes the program a success. I would also like to express my sincere thanks to Nadine at the Tambo Multipurpose Centre and Blackall Tambo Regional Council for funding this program - wi...thout this funding we wouldn't be able to afford to conduct such a wonderful program - thank you! I would also like to thank Wendy Keen for all the effort that she has put into this program - not only providing her amazing, unique yoga and meditation classes but also supporting me every day of the program to get through! Thank you! A thank you to Janelle Burns for her commitment and time in all things nutrition! The live workshop and weekly zoom sessions were excellent - just so informative! Janelle, your extended wealth of knowledge is certainly impressive. Thank you for sharing this in our program. A thank you to Lenny Deeder for her 'How to Create your own Happiness' workshops. Mental health is such a big part of keeping healthy. The workshops were fantastic and you handled your translation into english very well - certainly not an easy thing to do! Thank you for being part of the program. Thank you also to Tenille Philp for arranging the presentation of the Modere workshop, what a great product! Especially after learning from Janelle how vital it is to reduce chemicals in our everyday life - Modere has done it for us! So, as I said, that's a wrap for 2020 'Change it Up' Program but definitely not the end of fitness for Tambo!

Only 1 day until classes start for the Spring 'Change it Up' Program This afternoon at the dam, I will be there from 5.15pm to collect any forms that haven't been returned as yet. It would be great if you could get them in today, as tomorrow, when class starts, it is going to be full on And..............its not too late to join!! So if you are keen, just let me know and we can get you signed up ASAP!!... More exciting news!! The journals have arrived just in time for the start of the program, so if you can pick one up this afternoon, then that would be great otherwise I will have them there tomorrow prior to start of class Due to COVID rules, you all need to bring your own yoga mat and I have thoughtfully made sure that I have some for sale just in case you don't have one!! 14.01.2022 Here is an idea to help with your goal setting Some of the girls from our group fitness classes are already contemplating this On Sunday 21 March, 2021, is the Charleville Triathlon ... What a great goal to train for!! Something to keep you motivated - the light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak From what I can see from last year, you can enter as an individual - 300m swim, 11km bike ride & 2km run or you can enter as a team and just train for one leg of the triathlon - take your pick I can definitely help you with your training - we will be starting group fitness training soon and I am planning on delivering a mixture of both cardio and strength, which is perfect for the triathlon So, while you are sitting down thinking about your goals for 2021, give this one some very serious thought I believe that every single one of you who come to my classes has the capability to compete in this competition, whether it be a swim, a run or a bike ride, I know that you have the ability to do it! 13.01.2022 Happy 2021 everyone! I hope you all have had a wonderful christmas & new year and are now starting to think about getting back into the groove of your health & fitness regime for 2021. Who set a new years resolution on the 1 Jan? I did!! They say that only 46% of new years resolutions are met and I think that is because we try to set them when we are out of usual routine and smack bang in the middle of the festive season!... So NOW is the time to sit down with your journal or diary, take a few moments and start thinking about what YOU want to achieve for 2021. Take a little time for yourself to sit and ponder over these. The best way to set a goal is to ask yourself WHY you want to set the goal? If you have a solid answer to this, then there is more chance that you will achieve your goals! If health & fitness is in your list of goals, then stay tuned..............because fitness classes will be resuming on 2nd Feb, 2021. Bring on 2021 - lets make it an awesome year!

Monday 7 Sept - 5.15pm at dam - Sign on Day - if you haven't handed in your forms, then I will be at the dam on Monday afternoon from 5.15pm so that you can deliver these to me this will allow you time to discuss any issues you may have or any questions that you may have regarding the program!... Tuesday 8 Sept - 5.15pm at dam - First day of exercise Class will commence at 5.15pm - we will do a warm up, technique building, a walk and then yoga Wednesday 9 Sept - 5.15pm at dam - 2nd day of exercise warm up, technique building, a walk and then yoga Thursday 10 Sept - 5.15pm at dam - 3rd day of exercise a fitness class and then yoga!! Saturday 12 Sept - 10am - 1pm at the hall - Naturopath Workshop with Janelle Burns - don't miss it!! 04.01.2022 Tomorrow, Tuesday 6 October, will be the start of our 'Shake it Up' Program, where we plan to shake you up a bit more with so much on offer! Fitness & Yoga/meditation classes will now be 5 days per week (excluding week 1 with a holiday on Monday), plus we will have Janelle Burns, our Naturopath, conducting weekly zoom sessions PLUS Lenny Deeder will be conducting more workshops in 'Creating your own Happiness'. We will also be hosting a Modere 'Clean Living' Workshop in th...e first week. So much on offer, so make sure you seize the opportunity whilst you can. Week 1 will be: Tuesday 5.15pm - Fitness Assessment at the dam - you can compare your fitness levels from week 2 of the 'Start it Up' program or if you are new, a great starting point to compare later in the program Wednesday 5.15pm - Outdoor Fitness Class at the dam - games, hill sprints and more! So, have we got the program for you! 2020 SPRING 'CHANGE IT UP' PROGRAM for 10 weeks!... We will start with a 4 week 'Start it Up' Program, to gradually build up your fitness and habit forming and then move in to the 6 week 'Shake it Up' Program.
