21.01.2022 CHANTELLE & IRWAN I met Chantelle at the UWA Upmarket over a year ago. She was the artist next to me and she was so so lovely throughout the day. Chantelle is so incredibly supportive of me and my art so when she reached out to me to ask me to paint her and her partner Irwan, I couldnt refuse. I was nervous as it was the first male Id painted in this style, or any style, but I think it turned out well. A3 acrylic on paper xxx

18.01.2022 Dogs. Our best friends. I’ve been thinking more and more about getting a dog. I had the boys for 16 years and they were the best. Butttttt I know how much work they are AND my hands are already well and truly full buttttttttt they are the best and will bring my family so much joy. Have you ever felt this way before getting a pet? xx
18.01.2022 ZEBRAS I was recently asked by a lovely friend to create this custom painting. It was from a photo she had taken many years ago while on safari. It was certainly a process with many, many layers but I think it paid off. I think it is a good representation of the original. What do you think? Check out my stories to see the original picture she sent me. Also, did you know a group of zebras is called a dazzle? (That is the nickname I give my dad!) How cute. xxx

17.01.2022 First colours on for Arnold I always love showing the first colours going on. It demonstrates how much the painting evolves over time. I absolutely LOVE watercolour but its frustrating waiting for it to dry. I am easily the most impatient person in the world!! If I want to do something, I do it immediately, if not sooner. Working on two dog paintings at the same time. Cant wait to show you all! xxx

17.01.2022 MATTHEW LANDERS A few years ago, I won my place in a Matthew Landers floristry course. To say I loved it is an understatement. It ignited a passion for creativity and the desire to create a small business that continues to burn brightly today. After the course, Rachael Robertson (the very small business) was created, and I began doing florals. I mostly did flower crowns for hens or baby showers and did a couple of weddings, which were both highly stressful and soooo incred...ibly lovely. If you scroll through my page, youll see lots of the crowns I created in the past, I cant bring myself to take them down. Painting is truly my passion and I havent looked back since stopping flowers after the arrival of my first baby, Poppy. Throughout my floral moments, Matthew has been nothing short of amazing. He has helped, guided and offered advice when times were tough. It seemed fitting to paint this piece for an absolute boss man. 15.01.2022 2020 For what has been a challenging year for most, I end 2020 full of love and gratitude for the support I have received this year. Thank you. Here is a little snapshot of some of my favourite paintings from this year. Thank you to those that purchased a painting. Thank you to those that requested a commission piece. Thank you to those that liked a post. Thank you to those that shared my work. I am so incredibly grateful and you’ve made 2020 a special one, despite the circ...umstances. 2021 will be a different year for me as I return to work, focus on larger pieces and continue to work on a passion project (can’t wait to share this with you all). 13.01.2022 Hi I thought I would take a moment to introduce myself to those of you that dont know me. My name is Rachael Robertson and I am a mother, wife, sister, dog lover, teacher, wanna-be chef and art is my passion Before I release my cactus collection, here is a bit about me Teaching is my professional job and I absolutely love it. Im really passionate about mental health and well-being and led my school in this area. I even won Positive Teacher if the Year in 2016 I a...m currently on maternity leave. I have two young daughters (Poppy, 2 & a half and Daisy, 6 months) who are quite literally my greatest achievements and biggest joys I paint when/if they sleep I love cooking and homemade pasta is my medicine My favourite music is rap and Eminem is my absolute fave! I love dogs soooo much and have a dogphew Arnold. My dog Noché passed away at the beginning of this year He was 16. My other dog Lenny (also 16) was my best mate and he passed a year ago. Poppy got to meet both boys and I love the memories of them together. 12.01.2022 Sweet Pomegranate Today is my birthday. I turned 33 and I am really happy about that. 33 is one of my favourite numbers and when I look back at my life on this Earth for that number of years, I feel nothing but love and gratitude. I have so so so much love around me and I am so incredibly thankful for that. every. single. day. I dont know how this year will top the previous one but Im excited to see what it has in store for me This little painting was a custom piece I did yesterday. Sometimes, when I get into a state of flow while painting, I can whip something up so quickly. That usually means Ive loved every single second of the process and havent doubted myself once. Both girls have been sick and of course, Daisy decided to start crawling at the same time. She made her first moves yesterday and hasn’t stopped since! Poppy is ecstatic. 05.01.2022 MOTHER EARTH It was pure joy painting these pieces They are A3 watercolour and acrylic on paper. $150 plus postage for an original, ready to frame, one of a kind painting. They are multilayered, starting with with two layers of watercolour, what felt like 50 layers of acrylic, detail (dots, rainbows, mountains) and that beautiful shimmering gold. I took the photos outside in the sunshine so you can see how bright and bold they are xxx

04.01.2022 POPPY My sassy, strong, kind, beautiful, thoughtful, determined, no girl. The one that made me a mum. The one I adore beyond words. I have truly met my match in her. This painting is a little different for me. I used an app called Portrait Painter to generate a painting style image of Poppy and then I painted her. 02.01.2022 PI Anyone who knows me knows that I absolutely adore dogs. I had two of the best little boys (Lenny & Noché) who lived until they were 16 years old. Noché passed while I was pregnant with Daisy and the devastation nearly put me in labour They were my babies before I had babies. Surprisingly, this was my very first dog painting What a beautiful girl Pi is! This is watercolour on paper with many, many layers. I finished it with a touch of acrylic.
