20.01.2022 I woke up this morning to see a thick layer of frost outside my window, and the mercury well below 0. Thankfully I had fresh homemade bread and jam to warm me up . Sadly it was not on such a beautiful plate as this

20.01.2022 Ok, I'm seriously out of practice with shooting ceramics, shooting anything really, it's been a bit strange leaving my camera for so long. Living in another country is incredibly exciting and fun, but being without your people is a bit tricky. I'm so glad to have two beautiful mugs over here by Melanie Channel and @clay_by_tina although I can't wait to get home, pull out my other goodies and start shooting again. If any makers are ok with me borrowing some pieces to shoot, send me a message I'll be back in Australia on the 16th of July and will be looking to get back shooting the following week

18.01.2022 I'm disappointed that I missed the Melbourne Ceramics Market this weekend. It's such a fun weekend meeting all of the makers and some of the visitors, learning about why they love ceramics. I'm looking forward to the next market in November next year @lisapericeramics

10.01.2022 Oh hi! I finally decided to clear my memory cards of random shots taken these past few months and wanted to share some with you. Hanover; November 2018

08.01.2022 Question time! How do you slow down? (If you don't know or haven't thought about it before, set some time aside to do that). Emotional recharging can follow many different processes. Personally, I like to stop focussing on the "must do" 's and take time to realise where I am and appreciate those things. Often done in a clean place with a mug of tea and near a window for fresh air and perspective. I'm genuinely curious how other people recharge, or slow down and appreciate the little things. So... How do you slow down?

06.01.2022 Woah! Hold the phone! There are only two months left of living in Hanover??!! While this will be big change, I am really looking forward to being surrounded by creatives again, I'm looking at you @melbourne_ceramics_market

05.01.2022 Ghent, October 2018. Autumn is almost over here in Hanover, now comes the time of trying to remember the sun and warmth

05.01.2022 French Friday, is this a thing? The market that we happened across when staying in the French countryside was certainly a thing. It surrounded a castle from the 9th or 10th century, and had many stalls with local produce and wares. There was even a ceramicist throwing tiny vases. We finished our afternoon there sitting in the warm sun while eating grapes

04.01.2022 More baking today this time though Im getting some Michael Bubl with me in the kitchen, as I begin to make a truck load of Christmas biscuits

03.01.2022 Christmas trip to Italy is booked!! Time to look for recipes and get hyped about the Italian alpine region

02.01.2022 Try as you might, no grilled potatoes for you, friend

01.01.2022 Country Denmark. We were on our way to the "beach" when the clouds turned dark-grey, could we change our work back from a 30 minute walk to a 5-10 minute one? Unfortunately not, it started raining five minutes after I took this photo
