17.01.2022 It has been a week since our friend John Mattioli set off on his epic ride from Perth to Mandurah and back again. The phenomenal ride was all John's idea, and he proved to us that what he says, he actually does. John managed to ride 130km in 6.5 hours. An incredible effort, all in the name of raising funds for our research. We have tallied up the donations, and we are so proud to announce that John's Ride has raised $3050. We are completely blown away by the genero...sity of our supporters who dug deep to help raise such a significant amount. Thank you John and thank you to our incredible supporters. At times, it seemed surreal, as though we were watching something out of a fiction movie. Along with everyone else, we have had to cancel all events, and consider new ways to generate essential funds for our important research work to continue; but what isn't cancelled, is being able to give thanks. Behind the scenes, our scientists have continued with their research, albeit... with new rules in place.
