21.01.2022 So much work. So much considered work. So much expertise. In every pair. On most styles there can be anywhere between 70 - 100 steps to complete the shoes. After lasting (which was the hand hammering video we showed last week) sole edge surfaces are gently sanded for gluing. The sanding prepares the leather to ensure a stronger bond with the outsole. After the outsole is adhered and allowed adequate time to dry, the long arm stitching takes place (see a few posts back for this mesmerising process). 13.01.2022 Virtual tech-talk! Today we are in the studio exploring the design process behind our new Lunar Bootie in bottle green. Aside from their amazing aesthetics, these boots were built from our first custom designed outsole unit. In this video we share how this process works and why its important for your shoes. We also do a little virtual try-on at the end so you can see how they look and walk on the foot. Spoiler alert: despite its substantial wedge appearance, the flex is impressive (shoe-nerd joke).

So we thought about this and came up with a new format weve dubbed The Walk & Talk - to give you some more details about the shoes and the design process behind them, and most importantly includes a snappy little walking... short so you can see how they look walking in action. We are not saying its going to win us any oscars, but we are loving the process of bringing our shoes to life in video format to help give you guys the full visual on each style. 01.01.2022 IMPORTANT SIZING UPDATE on our new Cloud Trainers and Arkestra Sandals: Both of these beautiful new styles are on new lasts and factory sourced outsole molds which are based on US sizing instead of our usual European Sizing. Because of this, the fit can run a little bit different to our existing styles you may be used to.... Put simply - On the Cloud Trainer and Arkestra Sandal most of our customers are opting to size up 1 size from their usual Radical Yes fit. (So if you are usually size 37 in our shoes, go with size 38). To make it really easy we have included detailed measurement charts online with comprehensive length instructions specific to these two styles. So if you are thinking about investing in a pair of these shoes please be sure to measure your foot first and feel free to call us on 0437 933 073 if we can help you find your right size.
