24.01.2022 We know everyone is used to service providers wearing masks, but we still want to give a heads up about our Allied Health and Community Services staff who will ...be wearing eye protection as well as face coverings for face to face services. Physiotherapist Kate Lockett is pictured wearing PPE. The mask and eye protection provide an additional barrier to COVID 19. Staff will still be maintaining their 1.5m distance from others when able to and performing hand hygiene regularly. Remember, its the same friendly faces underneath. Services are all still operating but might look a little different. Telehealth is being offered where possible, and our group-based programs have become individual programs. Clients are being screened prior to service delivery to support us to attend to those with higher clinical needs first. Please contact us if your health care needs change.

21.01.2022 Less than 15 years ago, Conor McGregor was homeless. While homeless he met a woman named Dee Devlin. She took him off the streets, moved Conor into her tiny apa...rtment and fed him daily. All she ever asked was that he worked hard and believed in himself. She struggled to buy expensive, healthy food so Conor could train and stay focused... but she stuck by him. ONLY 9 years ago, Conor was a plumber... barely living above poverty, but Dee stuck by him. At one of Conors fights two years ago, Dee sat in in attendance to once again support her man while he made over 30 MILLION dollars to add to his already successful new life. Conor McGregors net worth in 2020 is a reported $120 Million Believe in yourself and find people who believe in you as well. Life is too short to keep your circle full of people who will watch you fail.

19.01.2022 MTHCS CEO Lois OCallaghan says now is not the time to start thinking that the virus is under control. She says there has been a concerning drop-off in testing ...rates recently, both within our region and right across Victoria. The greatest weapon we have in the fight against this pandemic is to keep testing. If you have symptoms (a sore throat, loss of smell or taste, even a minor sniffle), get in touch with your MTHCS Medical Clinic to arrange a time for a test. Our Infection Control Coordinator Sue White and Executive Director of Nursing Pam Vallance show how its done. Read the full story at www.mthcs.com.au

This Advice replaces the Advice issued at 12.32 p.m. - If you live in the Eastern and South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne the tap water is not safe to drink without boiling first. - Power outages overnight on Thursday 27 August, caused undisinfected water from Silvan Dam to enter the water supply system. - This has resulted in potentially unsafe water entering the water system and customer taps. - Water authorities are continuing to work with the Department of Health and Human Services to resolve the issue and will keep you updated. - Water quality testing continues across the impacted parts of the network to ensure there is no risk, and affected areas will be notified by water authorities when the water is safe to drink. - If you have no power or gas and cant access boiled or bottled water, call your water authority. - Information for https://www.yvw.com.au/ customers and https://mysupport.southeastwater.com.au//Drinking-Water-Ad customers is available on their websites. - Drinking undisinfected water may lead to mild gastro like symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, cramps and headaches. Babies, children, the elderly and people weakened immune systems may be more at risk. - If you need to leave your home to purchase water, remember to always wear a face covering, maintain physical distancing of 1.5 metres between you and other people, and follow all personal hygiene requirements.
