24.01.2022 I know we're all looking for that bargain gift for Christmas but please try to pause and ask yourself if it's absolutely necessary to purchase at all. If you buy a toy library membership but still want your child to open a present - why not pop one of our toys in a box from Bunnings and wrap that? Why not box up 5 more from the library?! Our families have been known to use this hack in the past! Works a treat
23.01.2022 We've unpacked the toys, tidied up and are ready for members to return this Saturday at our new address: 18 Chester Pass Road. A HUGE "Thank you!" to our committee: Linda, Ash, Anna, Michelle, Laura, Ruben and Mel who have spent days on end packing, cleaning, unpacking and working tirelessly behind the scenes to get the library to this amazing new level.

23.01.2022 Want to see additional opening hours? Due to member and public feedback, we're looking to add additional opening hours to our schedule. We have created a super quick online survey to capture what days and times you'd prefer.
22.01.2022 Drop in your drink bottles and cans at Green Skills Inc Container Recycling Depot at 93 Stead Road and nominate the library to be a recipient of your refund! Either mention the Rainbow Coast Toy Library, or stick our Scheme ID C10244221 on your bag and drop and go!
22.01.2022 Have you seen us in this weekend's newspaper? Have you been to our new building yet and checked out the fab new layout and toys? We hope to see you all there this Saturday 10am to 12 noon!
20.01.2022 If you are unable to volunteer on an opening day, then please volunteer 2 seconds of your time and leave us a review, refer a friend or family member or share our page. Thank you!

14.01.2022 Can you help? We're looking for as much historical information on the Rainbow Coast Toy Library as possible as very little has been kept in our records. Any photos, newspaper articles, names, dates and locations would be really helpful. Please comment below anything you know or feel free to email us at [email protected] Thank you!
13.01.2022 Rhythm and Melody are important to the mental development of a child. Teach them the beat, how to count in time, high notes and low notes, and when you've had enough of the noise - bring them on back :)

06.01.2022 The Toy Library has a sustainable ethos, whereby we use a toy as long as we can to prevent it going to landfill. Your membership fees go towards toy maintenance to give long term toys a much needed facelift, like this Step 2 Laundry. The volunteers dedicate their time to cleaning, fixing, and improving toy appearance for everyone's enjoyment. This Step2 laundry is 20 years old, but looks as new again.
03.01.2022 Let's talk about Christmas gift buying. Ever forked out the big bucks for a gift that your child "absolutely MUST have" only to be done playing with it by New Years? Use the Toy Library as the ultimate testing ground to find out which toy is worth buying and will have the best bang for your buck
03.01.2022 As of December 5th it will be mandatory to register your details when visiting facilities including the toy library. You can either choose to download the app and scan our code upon entry or manually fill out the registration sheet. Failure to do so results in hefty fines for organisations, and refusal of your entry, so we appreciate your co-operation. Download the app today and have a practice run this weekend. See you Saturday! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details
01.01.2022 The Toy Library is open every Saturday 10am to 12 noon, at 18 Chester Pass Road.
