25.01.2022 Who said ClaryCalm is just for the females... This once again has been a life saver in my house! My eldest son gets quite upset & teary eyed when he is over tired. This tends to happen at bedtime when he's in bed, so one swipe of ClaryCalm to the back of his neck & within minutes he's in a state of calmness, then falls off into a peaceful sleep. Gotta love #clarycalm

22.01.2022 Looking for a natural whitener? Woolworth's don't seem to stock my favourite NZ brand Eco Store anymore, but after seeing this one in a Health Store I thought I'd give it ago & after all I'm supporting Australia made products. The results were actually way better than my favourite brand. So far I've tested it on BMX racing tops, Sawyers white t-shirts with stains & around the neck where he has a habit of sucking them, amazing results! My favourite is that I've got a couple of my light coloured tops that have been totally stained with carrier oil...after years of aromatically dressing each day they got stained, but they're as good as new now thanks to 'Kin Kin Laundry Soaker & Stain Remover'. This one is even infused with Eucalyptus & Lime Essential Oil, giving it a pleasant smell

18.01.2022 I'm loving this unscented body lotion. It's an improved version & my skin definitely loves the improvements. How I use is after a shower I squeeze some into a wee bowl then add some essential oils, add some more body lotion, mix in & apply to my body. My all time favourite's are...morning: Cypress, Lemongrass, Peppermint & Wild Orange; night: Balance, Lavender Peace, Wild Orange & Frankincense; anytime: Grapefruit, Bergamot & Ylang Ylang; another anytime: Clary Sage, Douglas Fir & Bergamot. 16.01.2022 If you love musk you will love this blend. I'm not a big fan of the smell of doTerra's Cinnamon Bark but yesterday I decided I wanted to diffuse it. As Cinnamon has a really overpowering aroma I only added 1 drop of it & 4 drops of Patchouli...just the perfect mix. Let me know what you think?

13.01.2022 I've got my friend at work adding a few drops of Lime Essential Oil to her breakfast each morning...below picture. Which I've told her she should also try Wild Orange, that's my second fav with yoghurt. I've also got Kasey adding the Lime to her water throughout the day, which again I said she should try Grapefruit Essential Oil. I only recommend using food grade Essential Oils...which I know doTerra are.

12.01.2022 The HD Clear lotion is the last of the HD Clear set. This I have not used, but apparently the lotion is a light, non greasy moisturizer that absorbs quickly. 11.01.2022 I'm super impressed with Doterra's Shampoo & Conditioner...it's been 5 days since I've washed my hair! And in between I've been to a yoga class & pump class. I reckon it also gives my hair volume...my hair is fine & straight. I do make my own shampoo & conditioner by adding essential oils to plain stuff but I've been time poor. Once a week or when I remember I do use the Root to Tip Serum which makes my hair nice & shiny. I never treated my hair with anything like this before, so simple & non greasy. 08.01.2022 So along with getting my son to use the HD Clear Foaming Face Wash I get him to use the HD Clear Topical Blend if he gets a pimple, which has happened on the odd occasion, I actually use this too on the odd occasion. HD Clear improves troubled skin by controlling overactive sebaceous glands, improving skin texture, soothing irritated skin & assisting in cell renewal. Either apply to problem areas on the skin or use as a spot treatment like us.

08.01.2022 At a loose end as what to do with your empty essential oil bottles? This is what I've been doing...every other week I've been having a bath While the bath is running I add a few more drops of essential oil to the bottle along with some carrier oil, shake n tip into the bath & then place bottle(s) in bath. I choose calming/sleeping oils, if you manage to have a morning bath do this with more uplifting oils like Citrus oils & the Elevation blend. I also add Cypress as this is detoxifying for the body. The carrier oil also makes your skin nice & soft. Another thing I add is about a tablespoon of either epsom salt or pink Himalayan salt...again detoxifying. Give the bath a good stir, hop in & relax!!

07.01.2022 Grapefruit always reminds me of my mum back in the day when she use to have a cut grapefruit which she would scoop it out with a teaspoon & eat for breakfast to assist with losing weight. And low in behold the same with doTerra's Grapefruit Essential Oil, which also supports a healthy metabolism...Just add a few drops to water or a smoothie, stir or shake. Grapefruit is also the main essential oil in doTerra's Smart & Sassy blend aka Metabolic blend. Grapefruit Essential Oil ...is great for uplifting your mood to a more happier state with its energizing & invigorating aromas. Grapefruit E.O is often used in skin care products for its cleansing & purifying nature, improving the appearance of blemishes & promoting clear & healthy looking skin. Try adding to body scrubs & body wash. Grapefruit E.O is also popular in massage. NB: avoid Sun exposure for up to 12 hours after applying to the body as with all Citrus Oils is photosensitive. Grapefruit E.O is a natural antibacterial - make up a spray bottle with water, vinegar & Grapefruit E .O for a natural spray n wipe which can also be doubled up as a window cleaner. I have just started using this recipe to help eliminate cellulite which is formed by a build up of toxins; blend 10 drops Grapefruit E.O & 8 drops Lemon E.O with 2T carrier oil (although I am using the doTerra Hand & Body Lotion), apply to area of concern twice a day. One of my favourite blends for a diffuser, adding to shower gel & moisturizer is Grapefruit, Bergamot & Ylang Ylang E.O - which the latter I only add 1 drop as it overpowers the other oils. 03.01.2022 I'm getting my pre-teen boy into a habit of using doTerra's HD Foaming Face Wash before his face gets pimpley. The face wash uses plant extracts known to improve the look & feel of skin. The Essential Oils which are in it...Melaleuca (Tea Tree), Eucalyptus, Geranium, Ho Wood & Litsea thoroughly cleanse & purify the skin. Using this daily will help reduce breakouts & promote a clear, healthy complexion & soothe the irritation of distressed skin. With this being in an easy to use pump bottle there is no excuse for the boy not to have clear & clean skin.

03.01.2022 This morning my cat Dusty was a stow-away in our pop up caravan. My husband and boys made it to Bunbury caravan park when my boy could hear Dusty meowing in distress..in the caravan! Me who was still in Perth...enjoying my day off...had to go rescue Dusty. I took a bottle of Lavender Peace Oil & a minute from leaving with Dusty I had to pull over & apply the Lavender Peace Oil on a tissue & stuff it in Dusty's cage. It didn't take long for the meowing to stop, Dusty to calm down & then off to sleep for most of the way. I'm guessing Dusty will no longer be curious about the caravan. Note: not all Essential Oils are safe for cats.

01.01.2022 I can imagine the smell of this now...yum...imagine having this sprayed on your hair & while you are walking along a small breeze blows through you hair & the aromas catch everyone's attention as you walk on by. Also the Essential Oils will do your hair good. I can't wait to make this one! Let me know what you think if you get round to making this. You could also experiment by using other Essential Oils that you like the smell of.
