21.01.2022 Some states have implemented a "State of Emergency" to assist in managing the COVID-19 pandemic. This status does not mean that everyone should panic but rather it provides allowances for the government and government agencies to act quickly to get things done. This includes gaining access to additional funding, additional resources and enacting new legislation required to manage the designated emergency. It does NOT mean there is a need to panic. Rest assured events such as this have been planned for and an appropriate response is available. If we follow the directions of government authorities and act in humanities best interests instead of satisfying our own selfish insecurities we will be better off. Be kind to one another and exercise common sense.

Well if you’re reading this congratulations, you have taken a courageous step and I applaud you. Now let’s kick the door in on our subject and let me help you see your world from a slightly different perspective! In our extensive experience there are two types of ‘good’ people in this world. Those that Do and those that Don’t! See, we know, just by reading this you are more likely one that does, than doesn’t. What are we talking about? We’re talking about danger, the guy that makes you feel creepy, the sounds outside your house at night that make you feel anxious. See, the world can be a dangerous place. But it doesn’t have to be. But people that do, people like you, they know danger exists and they take the precautions to keep themselves and, more importantly, their family safe. The people that don’t, pretend bad things can’t happen. They prefer to risk their own safety and their family’s safety than acknowledge maybe, just maybe they are at risk. People like us, we don’t understand this, we see something we do something, we fix problems, we take charge, we get the job done. And then we relax knowing we have done all we can. But people like them, choose to believe evil happens only to others, to someone else. They tell themselves somehow the innocent are responsible for being victimized and it won’t happen to them. But deep down, in places they don’t want to admit exist, they know it’s just a matter of time before it happens to them because they did not prepare, they felt lost and were too afraid to act. They thought they could do it tomorrow or the basics would be enough. They think they can predict criminal behaviour when they can’t. The people that don’t will try to find a way around the statistics. They don’t want to acknowledge at least one in four women in NSW will be attacked, 80% of those by someone they know. That home invasions happen in Sydney on a daily basis and that thieves target wealthy and poor areas alike. That intruders really don’t care if you are home, they just care about getting caught and that the fact you are home will likely mean you and not just your things will become a victim. Those people say, I have a lock on my door, and I have a DIY CCTV system, I’m safe. But because we are the ones that DO we understand that crime as well as security evolves, that people break into your house for more than just cash, that a basic door lock has NEVER stopped an offender before and won’t in the future. People like us know that try as they may the Police will never get there in time to protect us and we need to look after ourselves.
