24.01.2022 Hi Members, Season 2020 is coming to an end in less than two week’s time, with the last round for non-competition teams (U6-U11) and competition teams who did not make the semi-finals being held on the weekend 10/11 October. Regrettably due to Covid-19 our normal Junior presentation day held at the ground and senior presentation night will not be held this year. However, all junior’s will still receive trophies and photos to celebrate season 2020 which will be handed out at your last game on the 10/11 October. Further details will be provided to coaches especially for teams playing away on the last weekend shortly.

21.01.2022 We had a great day yesterday at the Ramsgate Foodies Market where lots of kids of all ages came and said hello and had a kick of the ball. As you can see by the photo, some of them can barely wait until they can walk to get their hands on a ball Remember, that you can still register for our Little Rams program which begins on Monday the 16th of November. An introduction to football (soccer)for kids aged 4-6.... Girls only group as well as mixed. 4 weeks duration. $60 fee which comes off of your registration fees for next season. We are extremely fortunate to have two very talented and hard working people-Leo and Jamie-heading our equally hard working committee. Thank you to all of the volunteer coaches and managers who do such a great job, the mums and dads, aunties and uncles, grandparents and carers- you are all a part of the fabric that makes up this wonderful club. And a big thank you... to all the players, from the kids just starting out in the U6’s all the way up to the adults- some of whom have been playing football with club for many years. 17.01.2022 And so, on a glorious spring day that the football God’s themselves might have provided for our enjoyment, season 2020 comes to a close for all games at our home ground-Scarborough East. As the sun retreats for yet another day, the shadows grow long across the fields that have played host to thousands of kids, teens and adults throughout the year. Six and seven year olds pulling on a pair of boots for the first time, making new friends-perhaps some for life, learning new ski...lls, scoring that first goal that leaves a smile from ear to ear on their face- and mum and dad’s! Older kids who now are football pros looking forward to once again kicking the ball around with their friends on a Saturday morning and if old enough to be in a comp team, maybe even win a trophy! And how about the old timers the men and women who have played football for all of their lives and still love strapping on the boots for fun, fitness and a laugh with some old mates. Many, many magnificent memories, some disappointments and even the occasional heartbreak-if these fields could talk, they would tell some wonderful stories. See more

AAF- Saturday, 3.30pm @ Arncliffe Park.... AAWB- Sunday, 10.15am @ Peakhurst park synthetic. It would be awesome If you can make it to one-or all-of the games and support our teams as they chase premiership glory. 09.01.2022 Yesterday we concluded our introduction to football ( soccer) program for kids under 7. It was expertly run over 4 weeks by our good friends at #footballfrenzy. As part of our commitment to encouraging more girls and women to play football, we also used yesterday as an opportunity to run a one off clinic for girls only. As if that wasn’t enough, yesterday was also the final day of the ongoing coaching clinics that we have been providing for kids since our regular season finis...hed. In total we had about 60 eager kids take part in our programs and not only are we delighted on how well they went, the response from all involved- kids, parents and trainers- was extraordinarily positive! Thank you to everyone involved and don’t forget, registrations for next season begin in just a few short weeks. See more

Secretary nomination received by Jamie James and SVP Females received from Dannielle Finlay-Jones and as no other nominations received the roles are filled unopposed. 04.01.2022 A huge congratulations goes out to our 14C, AAF and AAWB teams who have all made their respective grand finals next weekend. All semi finals were close, hard fought games with the 14’s and AAF going into extra time. Details of the grand final times and venues for next weekend will be forthcoming. To our 16B & 12GA teams, commiserations. Although both teams played with distinction throughout the season, they were both pipped at the post in the semi finals and now look forward... to a well earned rest.
