22.01.2022 Anyone wishing to take over running ranch sorting events in the hunter valley? I am stepping away. The last 12 months have been a rollercoaster, with plenty of support and just about as much against the success of us running. Pioneer was started by 3 women, when Des left and Doreen stepped in it was still the three of us. We tried our best, but sometimes that's not good enough and it is very difficult to please everyone. My dad (as some of you know) had a serious accident tha...t almost claimed his life, it left him with an acquired brain injury and blindness. His health has took another detour down the cancer path. I have recently relocated, my youngest twin daughter has been in hospital twice in the last month. First was an accident at school where she fell from monkey bars and ended up with a shift in the vertebrae in her neck and then yesterday she broke her arm. Lots of stuff going on. The first show we had scheduled this year was cancelled due to lack of entries. There will be no more shows or schools organised with my involvement. Anyone that hears ranch sorting is moving to cessnock showground this has nothing to do with me. Good luck to anyone wishing to run ranch sorting in the future. BEK. See more

21.01.2022 ABCRA had kindly said that if any new members to ABCRA join full membership now they will be a member up untill 1st May 2018. Great deal for new members . Membership for Ranch sorting with out a subscription to ABCRA magazine is $95.00. ( $145 with magazine subscription) Day membership to ABCRA is $45.00 for our weekend so I encourage all brand new members to ABCRA to become a full member before our competition in March. You then will be set for a year of great Ranch sorting Competition and fun. Contact ABCRA for membership .

Membership for Pioneer Ranch Sorting Inc is entirely optional. The pointscore class is for members only and is additional to the classes already offered as per advertised event.

10.01.2022 Autumn Show this weekend cancelled. Not enough entries to run due to a number of cancellations yesterday. We do have a date booked at Branxton in April, we may reschedule to.

08.01.2022 No more from Pioneer Ranch Sorting. No one wants to take over, I hear that another will be taking our place though so good luck to them. We have donated our equipment to Lower Hunter Horse Sports Association.

07.01.2022 Sorry been moving and not updated the page with information from the meeting last month. As Pioneer Ranch Sorting is now incorporated as a club we are now able to offer memberships. We will be running an all levels class which will be for members only and for that class you will gain points for the end of year point score. This class will be 2 runs only per member and will be autopicks only @ $5 per run. The entry money will go to end of year awards. I will add more information when I get home regarding membership prices as well as upload the membership form. Thanks for your patience and support during this time.
