01.04.2022 We really are back up and running again now! Heading in to the Holiday Season we will remain open, apart form the Public Holidays, so we can catch up with all of you. Anne Macfarlane ( Homoeopathy & Naturopathy) is back in Selby for to face- to -face appointments, and will be on leave in... February for three weeks. 25.03.2022 GREAT NEWS! We can return to routine care as of this Friday 22nd October. PLEASE NOTE: there will be a back-log of bookings so please be patient with us. We are still required to follow VERY strict Covid safe procedures and trust you will understand this. Wear a mask in clinic and follow our one person per 4 square meter requirlements. 23.03.2022 Hi everyone, we hope you are all OK, and we understand how difficult things are at these times. An update for you with the current restrictions for our clinic as of last night. Basically, for Allied Health we moved from essential and urgent care only ( no routine care) to only urgent care. Some people are understandably confused about what urgent care means. I have popped in some of our advice below for you to read. (From ACMA ) "The definition of urgent clinical care... for this purpose is: For example, urgent clinical care; that avoids a potential hospital admission or emergency department presentation that avoids serious acute consequences or acute deterioration that presents/delays the need for further specialist medical or surgical intervention that prevents an increase in care needs that would necessitate additional carer supports or change in accommodation needs that limits secondary complications post surgery where deferral would lead to long term adverse consequences (i.e.. delays to child development) We would also reinforce that face-to-face group interventions are NOT permitted in metro Melbourne at this time." 27.02.2022 Update 6th August. Good Morning :) We will be closed for routine care with current lockdown restrictions - hopefully just for one week this time. Some services will be considered essential, such as mamatoto midwives. Some osteopathic, acupuncture and myotherapy treatments will be allowed - only if they are preventing significant deterioration that would require further specialist intervention. 25.01.2022 Good morning all. We are just trying to clarify what the current "roadmap" means for each of us here at the clinic. At this stage, it looks as though we will be closed for face- to -face visits for a further two weeks, re-opening on the 28th of September. For now, and until then we are only able to treat patients where that treatment will prevent a hospital stay. We will be doing our best to get the right information for you ASAP. From past experience this can take a couple of days. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

24.01.2022 Some good news. Myotherapists are approved to provide Teleheath consultations, it isn't the same as treating but it could be helpful for people who need advice for injuries and exercise prescription. I just have to get over my dread of being photographed & filmed....... I'll spend this week getting my head around how to do this and get going with it next week. Jessica will also be offering Teleheath consults. Several of our practitioners are already offering online & phone consultations if you need help or advice( see previous posts for details ). We shall keep you updated as more of us see how we can help you from a distance. In the meantime try to get out and walk (safely) if you can!

23.01.2022 Hi everyone, Stage 4 Update for you. We are currently closed under stage 4 restrictions. There has been slightly varying information for us from our different professional associations and information seemed to be changing quite regularly. For now from what we can see, the directive from the government is that we have been told to cease face to face consultations until the 13th of September, unless the consultation would prevent a patient from a hospital stay. We will ...post a more detailed outline later. If circumstances change and we feel it is safe to return earlier we will let you know. Consults via this medium can be useful for both new patients and current patients wishing to continue on their treatment plan. Continuity of care is imperative for healing and the ongoing support from your practitioner can also be very helpful mentally and emotionally at this time of increased stress and anxiety. 13.01.2022 19/10/20 following on from the Premier’s announcement yesterday, the restrictions that applied for face to face Myotherapy, Remedial Massage and Naturopathy prior to yesterday still apply for now i.e. that clients would still need to have a chronic disease care plan, and be requiring care that would prevent a significant change/deterioration in their functional independence. So we’ll keep you up to date with any further developments as they occur.

09.01.2022 We're still here! Unfortunately we are still unable to see people for face to face appointments unless that treatment would mean that person avoids a hospital stay. We are still here for telehealth appointments or phone and email advice if you need us. At this stage advice from our professional bodies tell us we will be able to treat again from the 28th of September if all is going well with lowering Victorian COVID-19 case numbers. When we are open for face to face appointme...nts again we will still be working under restrictions and limited to urgent cases. For example will not be able to perform treatments for relaxation or general well-being. Some appointments may also be of shorter duration. It looks as though if all goes well, by the end of October we will be working under less rigid restrictions. We are looking forward to being able to work again and hope you are all safe and well.
