18.01.2022 This was one of mixed media I attempted a few years ago. I hope this may inspire if you are struggling navigating with uncertainty. You are beautiful not because you are better than others but because there is only you who can smile like that.

11.01.2022 UPDATE: We are so overwhelmed with the interest and generosity. I’m amazed that this post has reached other states. This was intended for our locals to help our... Blue Mountains WIRES. The link in this post for Animal Rescue Craft Guild is the best place to find information on where to send items to for other locales. I’m just trying to make it easier for local BM people to send things to WIRES here. I know we are all feeling helpless and want to do as much as we can. Thank you so much!!! ~Maria Sewers, we need you! Patterns have been uploaded to our 'Wildlife Pouches' photo album and they are attached to this post as well. Even more info and patterns can be found at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/arfsncrafts/?ref=gs&fref=gs&dti=2414894225229792&hc_location=group We are happy to be a drop off point for wildlife rescue items for WIRES Blue Mountains. Please send us a private message and we'll reply with a drop off address in Katoomba or alternatively, let us know your address so we can pick up items. Our next sewing bee will be held at Korowal School on Wednesday, 15th January at 4:30 pm. We will be making our usual Boomerang Bags AND wildlife pouches. Tracey, a WIRES volunteer from Katoomba was ecstatic at the amount of pouches we donated to her from just one sewing bee. A great time to learn how to sew and/or be part of a wonderful community group.
