21.01.2022 Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Safe New Year. Thanks to all that have supported R.A.T Hobart this year. We had a fair bit of challenging weather this year, but still had great rides. Keep safe over the break and hope to see you all next year.
19.01.2022 Gday All Next Rat ride will be Sunday the 1st of Dec. heading to Swansea via Mudwalls, Ross and Lake Leake. Departing At 10.00 am Meeting at Brighton Bakery. ... Will also have a run for the Toy Run Hope to see you there. Cheers
18.01.2022 Toy Run. Anyone who is interested meeting at McDonalds Bridgewater leaving at 10.30 and heading to Westerway for a coffee before heading to the DEC for the Toy Run.
16.01.2022 Gday All Next Rat ride will be Sunday the 21st March heading for Southport for Lunch. Stop at Geeveston for coffee. Meeting at Muirs Car Park at 9.30 to depart by 10.00 Cheers
16.01.2022 Gday All Sorry there has been such a delay in getting back on the road. Our next Rat ride will be Sunday the 2nd August. Leaving Brighton Bakery at 10 am and heading to Swansea. This will be the 2020 Daryl Mallinson ride but we will not be riding over Lake Leake this time. ... Looking forward to catching up with you all Cheers Andrew
16.01.2022 A great ride today. Weather was great when we left bigot a bit wi day and a bit cooler as the day went on. Great coffee at the Possum Hut at Westerway. Good ride through Hollow Tree and a great lunch at the Bothwell Hotel. Great company and good riding. Thanks to all that could make it. Cheers.
16.01.2022 We are back!!! On the road today for the Darryl Mallinson Memorial ride although belated. A great turn out with a variety of bikes. Darryl’s sister Jo and hubby joined the ride again today and it was great to have them along. Certainly felt Darryl with us today and he looked after us with the weather. A great sunny day and dry roads. The roads were also pretty quiet for the east coast which made for a clear ride. Thanks again to all that made it. Cheers Andrew.
15.01.2022 Gday All. Had a great ride today down to Southport Hotel for lunch. There was a bit of rain about on the way down after a coffee at Geeveston. Had a great meal at pub and by the time we left sun was out and road was dry. How often do you ride from Southport to Geeveston without catching a car, roads were great and quiet. Stopped of at Franks Cider House on the way home. Thanks to everyone who came today. It was a great ride and we supported some businesses that will require all the support they can get soon. 12.01.2022 Gday Everyone. Hope everyone had a great Xmas and New Year. Jan ride will be Sunday 24th. Something a bit different, we will be heading over the lake country to Deloraine. I haven’t done this ride before so we will give ourselves plenty of time with a few stops. Meeting at Brighton Bakery ready to depart by 8.30 am. ... Hope to see you there. Cheers
11.01.2022 Thanks for a great day yesterday for the Toy Run. After a few hours cleaning and shining and packed full of Toys headed to the Possum Hut for lunch at Westerway. With Road works , wind and rain the bikes were a total right off with mud. Headed back down to the DEC and had another great day on the 40th Toy Run.

08.01.2022 Gday All Unfortunately due to the current restrictions on Social Distancing and the group restrictions of 2 people we are going to have to cancel the ride in April. Hopefully we can do a ride in May this will be Darryl’s ride instead. Catch you soon... Andrew See more
07.01.2022 A pretty big day yesterday. Left Hobart on the way to South Port in nice weather although rain was predicted. Heading over the saddle the sky became extremely black and lightening started to strike. The rain hit soon after with vengeance. With lightening and heavy rain we stopped at Geeveston to have a coffee and attempt to dry out. We called it a day and headed home. Thanks to all who came. Hopefully better weather next time. 05.01.2022 Another good day on the road today. Headed up through Mudwalls to Ross which was extremely windy and glad for the rest at Ross. Off course it started to rain as we left Ross and rained all the way to Lake Leake Chalet where we had lunch. First time I had been there. A bit of gravel on the way in but had a great lunch with good mates. Headed off after lunch down the east coast where the rain held off and down to Orford for a coffee before heading home. A typical Tassie day. Wind, sun, rain. Thanks for everyone for coming.
03.01.2022 What a great day for the last Rat Ride of 2020. Perfect weather for riding to Strathgordon hot and dry. A great turn out with great mates to ride with. A good variety of bikes including a great representation of KTMs Lake Pedder lodge looks after us again with great food and an unbelievable view. Thanks again for everyone’s support during the year. Looking forward to another great year in 2021. A few Pics of today and some during the year. Trace and I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Xmas and a Safe and Happy New Year.
02.01.2022 What a great day on the road. A fantastic ride to Deloraine over the Lakes. A first as Rat ride now the road has been sealed all the way. Would have to be one of the best riding I have done for a while. Now my favourite road. Thanks for everyone that came as it was pretty hot at times but a magnificent day for riding. A great meal at the 50,s Diner who made room for us. Great mates riding great roads.
