22.01.2022 GIRLS FIRST HAIRCUT Tips from Elise from Ladybugs and Cutterpillars " I wanted to show you a good example of the first haircuts for girls.... Notice the before pic is very wispy, straggly, and naturally layered? I experience parents only wanting the tiniest bit trimmed off because they're trying to grow it. My suggestion would be to give the first haircut a really good cut and early in age to give it a good healthy start. By doing this, you are giving the layers the quickest chance to catch up with the bottom length giving it thickness. I can't recommend exactly what age as some girls are born with a head of hair requiring a haircut at 6 months or earlier and others can hold off till 1-2 years old.
