20.03.2022 Not a horse but a prototype of a cable reel bench seat. The cable reels are proving hard to come by. This one was a broken one. Not completed as yet. The seat component is pallet material.

16.03.2022 Here is what the posts look like under the paint. Will slowly pick the rest of the white/grey paint of. (I hope) I gave it a quick buff with fine steel wool & it looks like it will take wax nicely.

01.03.2022 This is the next one. Another little Roebuck ( C1920s 30s) . The bottom rail & cross pieces of the stand are replacements, the rest of the stand is original. First Roebuck I recall that I have done that still has it's teeth. The stand is being stripped of that paint which consisted of 3 layers. Grey, white then the brown. As the paint comes of the original patina is there. Makes me believe that it was varnished originally. The plan is to leave that patina & wax it. Time will tell.
