24.01.2022 Work in progress in kallangur. Originally poorly painted before, so is being washed down. Two photos of the roof prior to being painted early next week.

20.01.2022 Here is a house that we are about to restore in kallangur. It was painted by the famous Irish painters, who came years ago ripping people off with cheap paint jobs. She said she thought something was wrong when she realised they used her broom as a paint brush.

14.01.2022 Another great job completed, this one in kallangur. From a previous ugly job, which had been poorly,l painted before, as shown, to a bright shiny, water proof, long lasting roof coat.

12.01.2022 Went to a client who had a leak in ceiling. Jumped on the roof, which had been painted a few years. From the ground it looks great, but from close up, a trained eye can see its only poor job, where cracked tiles, were only pointed over, not replaced and cracked pointing on Ridge caps, poorly repaired and painted. Had water cone through light fittings, when being washed down. With Rough tradies, get rough work.

12.01.2022 Here is a house in Murrumba Downs in progress of a full restoration. Here the old green paint job has already been water blasted off as much as possible and is ready for Ridge caps to be repointed before the roof repainted a modern colour using dulux paint. Due to the poor quality of workmanship the first time, it took longer than normal to prepare the roof. Very few clients get on a roof, once it has been done, to see the quality of workmanship that was done, as long as from a distance it appears okay.

10.01.2022 Below are pictures of water soaked insulation and mouldy ceiling can be seen are the result from one fully cracked and 2 minor cracked aging tiles, which has lead to major water damage in garage ceiling, requiring part of it to be soon replaced, due to the mould and water in the plaster. Get a free inspection before this happens to you and stop it from happening with a full roof restoration.

09.01.2022 It's amazing how 2 small palm fronds stuck in a valley leads to this ceiling damage plus damage on the other side of the wall along the ceiling cornice. Because the house roof was double storey, she hadn't been able to get up and check out for the leak. She was lucky, most times it is caused by cracked roof tiles as the roof tiles start to break up like the example below

08.01.2022 Here is examples of poor quality roof restoration here in Murrumba Downs. Paint starting to peel and the use of pointing mix to join broken tiles, rather than replacing cracked tiles. Cheap prices leads to cheap quality jobs.

04.01.2022 Unfortunately due to poor quality roof restoration 9 yrs earlier, the family has now ceiling water damage as the roof paint coating and pointing is breaking down. Firstly get a roof restoration done by a quality company like ourselves, and secondly as soon you see any ceiling water damage, get it seen too quickly by myself for a non obligation inspection.

03.01.2022 Blocked water Drain outlet. It wasn't till I had to go back to pick up something from the client we are about to restore their roof that we checked the gutters outlets and found one totally blocked. The client hadn't realised it was blocked, which is why their gutters used to overflow in heavy rain. This is a good reminder for people to check their outlets to make sure they are not blocked, especially if you have trees around the house, like this one does, filling up their gutters with leaves, and being washed down and blocking the drain.

02.01.2022 Found out after the rain had cleared, the reason the patio gutter was overflowing was due to one small ball stuck in downpipe entry. Small things can lead to big issues.

01.01.2022 Was asked to pop out and inspect a house roof due to a leaks in the ceiling, where water had come out via a light fitting. All it was was a blocked valley. Someone had thrown something onto the roof and with the leaves, had built up into a small dam, causing water damage in heavy rain storm. So so important to keep gutters and roof valley clean.
