01.01.2022 Who else has been enjoying the Carnival of Flowers? While your in town why not pop in and say hello to the team. It is positive news for the region seeing the below report on Toowoomba from the UDIA. ... Now is the time to invest in Toowoomba! The Toowoomba Darling Downs region has had a strong 2019-20 experiencing a substantial 10.6% growth in building approvals from 2018-19. This was primarily due to the increase in activity in the Toowoomba LGA. Toowoomba West secured the top spot in the region moving from second last year with a 23% growth in activity. This was driven by non-residential building approvals around the Charlton Wellcamp area and Toowoomba West Airport. Highfields took second spot moving into the top five this year with a balance of residential and non-residential activity. Toowoomba Central dropped from first to third this year registering around 50% of the activity it received in the previous year. Toowoomba East came in fourth, even though it experienced an increase of 34% in building approval value, primarily in non-residential development approvals. Wilsonton rounds out the top five. Warwick and Jondaryan drop out of the top five from last year.
