INTRODUCTION Israelites were yoked and afflicted with burdens by the task masters because of an evil counsel by a cabal. The faith of the Jews in Shusan were also sealed unto death in a secret covenant. But in all these; God arose. PRAYER POINTS 1. Father; we worship you; You are the all-knowing God, The Omniscient. Dan 2; 22 2. Father we thank you and know that nothing is hidden from you. Heb 4:13 3. Father we thank you and know that nothing is too hard for Thee. The problem of Nigeria is not too difficult to solve. Jer 32:27 4. Father; for the groaning of the masses, arise for the help of this nation. Exo 2:24 5. Every evil covenant enacted in a secret coven designed to rubbish the glory of your people be broken by the power in the name of Jesus. 7. As God intervened in Egypt by letting His people go, So the Lord will intervene in this nation and set the people free from bondage of secret and evil covenant In Jesus name. 8. Let us plead the blood of Jesus to counter every evil agenda of the wicked causing the shedding of human blood in our nation. 9. Let us cry for mercy. God have mercy over us and our land. We are tired of famine in our nation. 10. Father; expose, dispose and destroy every agent of destabilizations in our nation’s politics and governance. 11. Father we release spirit of error into the camp of cabal manipulating the destiny of this nation to their evil and selfish agenda. 12. Father; destroy the power of witchcraft at work in every sector of politics and governance in Jesus name. 13. Let us plead for mercy for the killings and reckless wastages of human lives going on in nations of the earth. 14. Let us plead the blood of Jesus for the cleansing of the nations of the earth. 15. Father; as many that are behind the shedding of innocent blood in anyway, bring them to judgement in Jesus name. 16. Father please solve the problems of this nation in your own way.

He went down to Joppa, where he found a ship bound for that port. After paying the fare, he went aboard and sailed for Tarshish to flee from the Lord... Introduction Many of us are like Jonah, running away from the assignment to go preach the good news. Are we running away from God great commission? Are we telling God, please send someone else? Let us take the assignment of soul-winning seriously. The church is called, sent and empowered to go and preach salvation news to the whole world. We are required to go and preach repentance and Truth of the undiluted Gospel. The call is urgent, God is warning the church to stop going the other way. God wants the church to Arise, go. (Jonah 3:1-2) proclaim the message of salvation to the whole world Lesson from the bible reading 1-The Call was personal, specific and with clear purpose (Great Commission) vs 1 2.God is merciful (Vs 2) despite their wickedness, God wanted them to repent by sending a prophet to them 3 Jonah’s problem was his heart- Jonah lacked God’s heart for the lost people, the perishing 5.Jonah was doing the opposite of what God says- running away from God Conclusion Our Lord Jesus Christ has commanded us to go and preach the gospel of salvation to sinners. Many of us are in a boat to Tarshish when God wanted us to go to Nineveh.
