24.01.2022 Some of our riders and horses had fun on Tuesday with painting and dress up. It will be the turn of our Saturday riders this weekend. I think our Tuesday riders did a wonderful job as did our horses who all stood very still and were very patient while being used as a living canvas.

14.01.2022 As we finish another year we would like to thank everyone who has supported us during what has been an interesting year. We could not have done it without each and everyone of you. Our amazing vet David Goddard, fabulous farrier Steve Riggs and his sidekick Angus, mystical touch Deb Foale and Ali Goward, the magic of Margot Jensen, the divine dentist Karen Davidson, Kingstons Rural Supplies and Fraser Coast Rural Supplies have all greatly contributed to the health and well b...eing of our horses. Our horse sponsors Simone Xouris (Nugget & Tic Tac), Karen Davidson (Bobby), Edna and Kevin Harvey (Buddie), Steve Riggs (Monty), CLA (TJ) and One Reality Maryborough (Tonto) have made the financial side of looking after our horses a lot easier. Our riders and their families have been very understanding of the disruption to their riding program, our volunteers have been wonderful in adapting to the 'new way' we have had to operate and the changes it has involved. We are so proud of you and all our other riders who participated. 20 of the ladies of the Glades Quilters from Caboolture, who donated 1st and 2nd prize, voted with the above results. We will be in touch with those who won with regard to receiving your goodies.

We wish to give a huge thank you to Telstra for sponsoring our Day and to Kingstons Rural Supplies Big W and Woolworths for supplying the prizes for our raffle. I will post lots more photos (thanks Maddi Cox for being our photographer today) when I have sorted through them and would love to see any others have taken of the day

08.01.2022 Sometime between yesterday lunchtime and this morning dishonest people stole the honesty box from our manure stand by using an angle grinder to cut it off the trailer. This means that until we can find a more secure solution we will not be putting manure out the front to sell but you can still get it by phoning us on 0478 028 379 and arranging a time to collect your order.

08.01.2022 It’s almost time for our RDA Games Day and we’re so excited! Unfortunately, we have not been able to ride for the majority of the year due to COVID-19 restrictions. We understand that this has been a tough year for everyone, but we believe it has been especially difficult on our riders who really look forward to the program and the therapeutic assistance they get from riding with us. This is why we have decided to host a Games Day just for them! Riders from across the Frase...r Coast have been invited to our grounds to participate in a day filled with fun, friends and games. It will be held on the 25th of October and we’re inviting anyone from the community to come along and watch our riders and support our association. 07.01.2022 The horses and volunteers have been put through their final training session before riding starts again on Tuesday. Snow also took part as we continue to train him to join the team - he passed all the tests we sent him with flying colours.

05.01.2022 The Lions Club of Maryborough presented us with a cheque for $15,000 last Tuesday. Tonto tried to eat the cheque!! This generous donation has been the culmination of a lot of hard work by the members of Lions Maryborough, over the last two years. The donation will assist in the next stage of completion of our covered arena. The Maryborough Lions are long time supporters of RDA Maryborough and the generosity of all of the Lion members is shown by this huge donation

05.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who supported our Garage Sale - we raised $3,800 which is an amazing amount and will go a long way towards keeping our horses fed and healthy. We only have one more ride day before the end of the year for both our Saturday and Tuesday riders. So hope to see you all on either Saturday or Tuesday

04.01.2022 Kieran and Rori with their very beautiful prizes won as 1st and 2nd in the competition run by our State Office. The very talented ladies at Glades Quilters at Halcyon Glades, Caboolture made both the rug and the cushion. Here is a message from Kieran: "Thank you for my beautiful quilt and certificate. I love them. I would like to use my quilt for yoga.... Thank you also to everyone at RDA and the ladies who did the sewing. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to all." See more

02.01.2022 It was the turn of our Saturday riders to decorate their horses yesterday and they did some wonderful artwork on their very patient canvases. Kieran made a great job of copying the RDA logo from his shirt onto the side of Buddy. Some even helped give the horses a bath afterwards to get them clean again.
