09.01.2022 FLOOD WATCH ISSUED - #MidNorthCoast, #Hunter - 1:45PM, Sunday 3rd January ... A trough lies through inland NSW with a humid easterly airstream across northeast NSW. Heavy rainfall with, and ahead of this trough is expected to impact the Mid North Coast and Hunter districts bringing river level rises from Monday. Catchments likey to be affected by flooding are currently saturated following rainfall over the last week or so. A Minor flood warning is current for the Bellinger and Paroo Rivers. The weather system is expected to cause flooding for the following catchments for Sunday and into Monday as the weather system moves south. Applications are invited from people who have expertise in one or more of the following fields: Banking, finance or farm management; Social welfare, rural counselling or conservation; Supporting farm business and rural communities; and/or Rural and/or business networks, especially within farming industries.
