23.01.2022 Hello RDNA members, I hope this message finds you all well. As you have probably presumed the Summer Season will not be going any further. With playing just under half a season it’s disappointing not to be able to finish. ... The health & safety of our members is the priority. We are still to finalise the payments & possible reimbursement or credit for next season . If you are at all experiencing hardship & would like your fees refunded please contact the club via email so we can arrange this for you. [email protected] Going forward, term 3 Comp is still up in the air, we hope to start a competition in term 4 - obviously it will be a shorter season with a possible twist. I hope to see everyone back next season ready to play netball again. Take care and stay safe. RDNA

15.01.2022 Getting excited to start our season. No sweat we are working on our teams over the weekend along side the fixtures and fees to be able to then send you all the link to make your VNA insurance Payment for 2020 and the RDNA fees. I have notice that the VNA Insurance has gone up $2 this year. Please find attached the netball victoria 2020 membership fees. We will include this with the Rdna fees and you will make a lump some to be paid by the third week. When you follow the link which we will get to you all early next week, you will have the choice to Select the part payment option, which they will set up over a few weeks so there should be no dramas in everyone setting this up before the third week. Thanks RDNA

11.01.2022 Officially MRSC have announced the closure of the Kyneton sports and Aquatic centre, Gisborne Aquatic and fitness centres and all leisure centres/ stadiums in all townships due to COVID-19 as of today Tuesday the 17th of March 2020 for at least one month. As we are heading into unknown territory we support the councils proactive decision to close in order to protect the health and well-being of our community, especially elderly and the most vulnerable of our community. By ta...king these precautions now hopefully we can slow this world wide epidemic. We will report to you all as more light is shed on our ever changing situation. Due to the closures we feel it necessary to post pone our RDNA Annual general meeting which was to be held this Thursday at 6:30pm until we know more on this spread. Question have already been directed at fee reimbursement for this season. I feel this is a little too premature as if the closure is only for one month, incorporating school holidays there may not be too many games cancelled. In saying that, we are still going into unknown territory and of course the RDNA will look at the fee structure once all is said and done. Wishing you and your families every health and happiness at this time. RDNA

08.01.2022 Hello Everyone Just thought we should post a little of RDNA stance on the Corona Virus. We, like everyone are still Up in the air as to where this may take us all but for the moment we are happy to keep playing until the authorities feel we need to make some changes. While the children are still at school we feel there is no reason to cancel our games. Also just a reminder that we have our RDNA annual general meeting this Thursday night at the Romsey Recreational Centre aft...er the last game at 6:30pm. Hope to see some new keen faces that are happy to get involved in our exciting and ever growing association. See you all soon
08.01.2022 As a proud Netball Association /League, we are very grateful that Netball Victoria has demonstrated sound decision making - both now and in the past - for the overall benefit and longevity of our sport. As a sport, we have always done a lot with a little. And this is evident now more than ever. In an environment where some multi-national corporations have faltered, a small, not-for-profit state sporting organisation, is still chugging along. It’s not quite business as nor...mal working environments, staff hours and the way netball is delivered have all had to change but it is business as usual. Netball Victoria exists to improve people’s lives, and we are thankful that they will withstand the pandemic and be there to support organisations like ours and our Clubs now and into the future. Our Association/League is also in a sound position. Things will be difficult, but with the support we receive from both Netball Victoria and our community, we know we will be okay. In all areas of our lives we have been forced to adapt over recent months, and netball has been no exception to this. But at the end of the day we #PlayForTheLove. And the small sacrifices we have had to make will soon seem a distant memory when we are back on the court and thriving once again. A strong Netball Victoria is important to us, not just for our Association/League, but for the overall longevity of the sport we love. At this time, we are strongly encouraging our members to pledge their 2020 Netball Victoria Membership. Your Netball Victoria Membership is an investment in the future of our sport. Having a Netball Victoria Membership is saying, yes, I support my Association/League, my Club, my Coaches and my Umpires. It’s saying I love my netball, and I want to see it thrive on the other side.
05.01.2022 Monday night!! What a wicked game we had this season for the Monday night Grand Final. With Sister Act playing Average Joes who came close to being undefeated through out the season. It was an amazing game with both teams playing their hardest and giving their all. In the end there had to be one winner with Sister Act taking home the Glory. It was a close one with the scores 35-30. Best on court voted by the umpires went to Ivy Harrop who played an exceptional game in defenc...e for Sister Act. Runners up Best and Fairest for the season went to Chloe Dyer from Sister Act and the Best and Fairest winner went to Tarnee Hammond who played consistently outstanding games, switching from attack to defence for Average Joes through out the season. Massive thank you to everyone who helped on the night and throughout the whole season wether it was scoring, umpiring, playing or involved in the committee and last but not least our RDNA supporters. It really has been a great year. Looking forward to doing it all again for 2020. See more
