25.01.2022 Oh, I LOVE this . . . .

23.01.2022 I’ve always adored this poem, for it speaks of our role as guide in the lives of our children. Where letting go is as beautiful as the holding.

22.01.2022 WOW! I had NEVER heard of this, but having had 2 children absolutely terrified of the big red guy, this is just gorgeous. Hope anyone in need of this sees it early enough to book in.

21.01.2022 LIKE if you can relate! If you DO hit LIKE, I'm guessing you have a son? If you're perplexed by why this is so, don't miss this must-read for parents of teenage sons - "HE'LL BE OK: GROWING GORGEOUS BOYS INTO GOOD MEN" by Celia Lashlie. So insightful.

21.01.2022 . . . at the core of building resilience. I've always loved this.

20.01.2022 My SON'S face when HE misses his alarm . . . . and M u m m y is c o m i n g . . . . :)

19.01.2022 Does your child struggle with projects? Are they more visual? Do they have incredible ideas, but can't get them down on paper in written form? Mind mapping allows your child to express ALL their ideas, in a way that makes sense to how they think. This honestly transformed the way my right-brained, creative-thinking son approached his assignments. www.mindmapsforkids.com

17.01.2022 1-2-3 Magic Parenting, when implemented consistently and calmly, is without doubt the best program for both the parent and child when dealing with discipline, teaching consequence and self-control. In my work, when parents ask me for book recommendations to support them as parents, this is still my No. 1 - after many years. It changed MY life with a difficult child and I've seen it do the same for friends and family. :)

15.01.2022 No-one communicates sensory overload and living in an Autistic world like Temple Grandin. Don't miss this wonderful doco about her journey. So watchable, but particularly for anyone close to Autism, or someone with Autistic-traits. Such inspiration. please SHARE.

08.01.2022 I can't WAIT to go to The Learning Difference Convention where we 'celebrate' DIFFERENT. I'm delighted for a chance to connect to people who are also out there helping our quirky kids and their dedicated parents. Anyone in Sydney interested, you can still buy tickets.

03.01.2022 seriously though, yelling just erodes self-esteem and makes kids feel even smaller than they already do, when they've done wrong. We're ALL in a state of 'discovery and learning', even us 'grown-ups'! Let's all take a biggggg breath occasionally . . . :)

03.01.2022 How much do you spend per child for Christmas? Do you have a set limit?

02.01.2022 What an inspiration to hear a talk describing ADD/ADHD children as 'right brain' kids. This 'label' allows us to celebrate creativity; intuition; imaginative thinking; empathy; sensitivity; passion, and the list goes on. Thanks Frances Adlam from www.outofthebox.net.nz for your gorgeous, inclusive insights.
