14.01.2022 Alex is an amazing speaker and we are so lucky to have her along to speak with us next week - on improving our online communication :) Moving from offline to online engagement... How do we get our point across effectively in this new phase? Alexandra Egan... Founder/Owner, Domino Effect Consulting & Facilitating Alexander specialises in managing communication under pressure and in extremely challenging circumstances, breaking down communication barriers, clearing out the blockages, and developing people to get the job done. Alexander works with people who are genuinely committed to learning, developing, and evolving into effective, productive, professional human beings. With over 30+ years’ experience working in prisons, with victims of crime, people at risk, witness protection, and leading teams to their success within the Federal Government and Corporate space, this has taught me that managing communication strategically is the most effective way to best mitigate risks, manage conflict, crisis situations, understand negotiating styles and how to influence others with differing styles. With a passion for communication and an interest in developing people, I have built a solid reputation as a straight shooter who gets results.

13.01.2022 Michael and I had a great catch up with Alexandra today to give you a sample of The exciting discussion that we will be having next week Alex will be sharing to...ols for you to navigate this period to become the most effective communicator For your clients and team Enjoy our brief casual discussion today- (sorry about the camera aka Rob) He he Alexandra Egan, Founder and Owner of Domino Effect Consulting has had quite the career. From managing a call center within the finance industry, to managing thousands of prisoners in one of the state’s largest male dominated prison, to managing a team as front house leader for one of Australia’s largest Govt Departments. Alex’s passion for communication and connected started back in 1989, when she moved to Europe for a few years, teaching non-English speaking students. From there, her passion for human behavior and effective communication grew 10xfold. After returning to Australia in 1992, Alex commenced her career within the finance industry as a call center leader. Aggressive, threatening interactions was nothing out of the ordinary for Alex and her team. In 2000 Alex left finance and commenced with one of Australia’s largest Federal Government Departments. She started off as an Client Advisor and worked her way up into leadership and leading both operations and front of house teams. During this time Alex experienced many physically aggressive situations. From being strangled by an ice addicted customer wanting $5 to buy smokes, to being chased around the office by a mentally ill and out of control customer holding a sharp piece of glass wanting to slit her throat. There was never a dull moment. Aggression and negotiating violent situations was something of the norm. In 2003 Alex’s career took a turn within the department. Because of her innate ability to appease and manage incredibly challenging, aggressive situations, she was offered a position working in one of Victoria’s largest male dominant prisons. A young, blonde female working in an all-male dominated prison, surrounded by high risk, high profile prisoners. Riots. Lock-downs. Stabbings. Fights. A watch your back mentality. The fact that she was faced with challenging and at times life-threatening situations, meant that she had the opportunity to learn and acquire an extensive understanding of how critically important effective communication really is to be able to connect, earn someone’s trust and to then influence their decisions and choices bringing out the best in people. With a passion for communication and an interest in develop ing people, Alex has built a solid reputation as a straight shooter who gets results. What this means for you, is that you will receive the best and the most advanced experience. https://www.facebook.com/events/312152406753242/ Click here to register in advance : https://bit.ly/3h9QAxi
