25.01.2022 We highly recommend and love Kerryns photography here at Reality Downs just a snippet from our great weekend at our Sue Frank's clinic. Can't wait to book the next one!

21.01.2022 Happy New Year everyone!!! Do you have some big riding goals for 2020? I did for 2019 but due to injury i ended up with 12months off (2018/2019). 6 months of hard work under the guidance of Christine Johnston I attended my very first horse show competing at the DDWD championship placing 3rd overall in intro. My horse went beautifully and I felt confident and in control. This is what can be achieved with the help of an amazing coach who believes in your journey. Christine is available for lessons and we will hold some one day clinics with her here at reality downs. Dream big everyone always aim for the moon because even if you miss you will land amongst the stars.

18.01.2022 Would any one be interested in a 1 on 1 or shared lesson with Sue Frank's on Friday 13th of March? Cost is $80/hr or $50/rider/hour for a shared lesson.

17.01.2022 We have dates! Sue has offered the following thw most popular would be chosen. 14/15 march or 25/26th April Hope everyone had a merry Christmas. Was wondering what interest there might be in a clinic or lessons here with Sue Frank's in March/April. Clinic would cover horsemanship or western dressage or working equitation. Comment below if you would prefer to do a lesson or a clinic. If it's a clinic 1 or 2 days? Also what would you be most interested in general horsemanship western dressage or working equitation?

16.01.2022 Sue Frank's is a western dressage and working equitation judge. In 2019 she achieved the following Queensland Champion Introductory Level Buckle- Western Dressage... 2nd Place Feature Maneability at Working equitation Nationals Working Equitation State: *Champion Preliminary Level *Champion Teams *Champion Cattle Team Awarded Peter Pike Memorial Trophy highest score in the State Champs Sue describes working equitation as an all round horse event your horse requires finesse in the dressage suppleness in the maneability control in the speed phase then drive in the cattle phase.

12.01.2022 Now the covid restrictions are being lifted whose keen to get some motivation back and get back in the saddle?? I have invited Sharlene Hodges to come to QLD to do lessons. Sharlene got me started in my horse riding journey and I highly recommend her. She currently judges unofficially in nsw and was NCAS /Pony Club level C in QLD /NSW and NZ intructor but isnt current. Has taught at pony club for 20years. Sharlene works with all types, levels and disciplines from beginners ...to national level competitors, nervous or confidence building, from dressage to jumping to western, kids to adults she has worked and/or competed in all and spent time training under an Olympic level dressage rider. She has retrained OTTB, trained warmbloods and worked with a variety of other breeds. Sharlene focus on the rider first and foremost eg position seat bio mechanics effective aids etc and the discipline 2nd. No matter what style of saddle you ride in what level of rider you are at what discipline you compete in or if you just need some confidence building Sharlene will meet you were you at and help you get where you want to be. Sharlene lives in NSW so we are working out travel arrangements now. Cost will be $60/hour for a 1 on 1 lesson (shared lessons for 2 participants could be negotiated) here at reality downs (or locally by private arrangement) plus an even portion of the travel costs approximately $20 If you think you may be interested please comment below or send a message and I will contact you when we iron out all the details. Picture is Sharlene teaching my youngest son ( was 5 at the time) on young paint filly

05.01.2022 Here it is 1st clinic at reality downs 2020 all info in the event. A little something for everyone. Perfect for anyone looking to compete at the ARBC Western Dressage as part of your final preparation. Taking bookings now!!

02.01.2022 I love to see people learning improving and enjoying their horse thats why I hold clinics here. But - if you have a fear around your horse/riding no clinic will help this until you address your fear. Below is a video of Natasha who is an Australian grand prix dressage rider doing a session with a rider to help address their fear. Tash also has a fear mastery course to help you identify your fears and over come them. During the current shut down she is doing daily live feeds where you can ask questions. I highly recommend her eqflix subscription lots of videos to answer pretty much any question you could have in regards to riding and very affordable. Hope you enjoy

01.01.2022 Would there be anyone interested in a clinic or lessons with Tanja? https://www.facebook.com/tanjamitton69/
