11.01.2022 Construction has started on a new marina in Perths north that will be bigger and more modern than Hillarys. The Ocean Reef Marina will include an ocean pool,... a protected beach, cafes, restaurants, shops, playgrounds, boat pens, stackers and launching ramps and also residential blocks. The first stage is set to be completed by 2023. The project has been on the cards for decades - and has been controversial for its footprint on the local environment - but was last year granted environmental approval.
