16.01.2022 Saving the best til last! 25 days done, 3318 Push Ups Completed and so far just over $2000 raised for Headspace Bundaberg. A proud achievement for sure but it w...as a great pleasure to add to my final tally with a little help from these very special friends. I met Brent Illingworth just over ten years ago, in fact the reason I walked through the doors of RealWay Bundaberg to ask for a job was because of a newspaper article I’d seen in the local paper about Brent and the Illingworth family and the article discussed the topic of being a family owned and operated business and I thought to myself, I like the sound of that. It was possibly one of the best decisions of my life. Not only was it a work place, it was a family and it’s become my family, John, Debs, Tegan and Mr Brenno as I affectionately call him have played a massive role in my success and achievements. Brent at the time was a young adult, torn between a career in education or following in Johns shoes with a career in realestate and taking over the family business. Not an easy decision for an ambitious young fella with his own plans but once the decision was made he threw himself at it like a man on a mission. The hard work, the dedication, the tears and the turmoil of business have shaped him into an outstanding young man, now a proud dad and husband and a super successful Sales Agent & Sales Principal but most importantly to me one of the best friends you could ever want. I’ve seen first hand the mental strength this fella has, the determination and desire to succeed and the demands he places on himself, there is no one else I know who works as hard as he does but it’s been the reason that team and RealWay Bundaberg team are always ahead of the pack and an amazing place to be. It’s not easy to breed a great work culture especially in an industry like Real Estate but that’s what we have. Whenever I’ve needed him, he’s been there for me, aside from work, he’s gone above and beyond to make me feel part of the family so his continual support of my crazy adventures and ideas only evidences that and I am very appreciative of his generous donation and support for my cause. You work for a long time, it plays a massive part in your life, you may as well do something you love, with people you want to be with and I love Mr Brenno and the RealWay Bundaberg team.
