25.01.2022 Making parenting look easy, since 2019. - - - (Joking, it’s my first day flying solo, pray for me)

21.01.2022 Budget night - Next Tuesday night is the release of the 2022 Federal Budget. And yes, I’m excited. - Whilst I’m off the tools in a big way, I still will be closing reviewing and sharing my thoughts on Wednesday (with the help of my new apprentice ). ... - There’s been early stories about childcare boosts and aged care funding - what are you hoping to see or understand better? - Last year’s budget was slammed for a superficial and piecemeal approach to addressing women’s pain points. I’m very curious (whilst balancing my expectations / fury) to see what is contained this year. See more

19.01.2022 Prepping this week has also included listening to a bunch of @cocoonbynaomi episodes of Tales from the Fourth Trimester. - If you enjoyed my @shesonthemoneyaus episode, I highly recommend listening to this one too, where Naomi and I go deep into how to use your $ to enhance your post partum experience as well as making the most of your pregnancy. - Oh and all the nitty gritties of Jeffrey’s birth story. ... - Posted @withregram @cocoonbynaomi Want to know how a financial advisor preps for pregnancy, birth and postpartum? Meet Rebecca (@rfpritch), who shares exactly how much she and her partner saved, spent and sacrificed in this week’s episode of Tales from the Fourth Trimester, along with her own story of becoming a mum PS! If you’re looking for someone to help you get your shit together when it comes to $, I highly recommend her. We had a session just before covid life hit and I would have been way more freaked out about finances had we not already felt like we had a solid plan (that doesn’t involve living on baked beans) xx See more

14.01.2022 First day of school 2021

12.01.2022 When our kids are ready for school, I want to know that we’re ready for school - today’s client conversations - Getting ready for your children’s future means forward thinking. Financial stress in supporting your family really can be avoided, with foresight and execution. - If there’s more than 3 years until your goal, investing is not optional, it is mandatory. Your bank account is not going to cut it. ... - #financialadvice #moneymanagement #goals #educationsavings #futureplanning See more

09.01.2022 My thoughts on this year’s budget in stories / highlights. - Bonus points this year for stringing a sentence together, no crying and minimal hot sweats (for me, not Frydenberg). - Let me know what your thoughts were

03.01.2022 Financial flexibility: Words spoken almost every day in my role, but words that mean something different to each of us. This week I’ve canvassed what it would look like to pay off a mortgage in 10 years, to have the flexibility to retire at the same age as your partner (even if there’s a big age gap) and also knowing you can shout your parents a meal whenever you go out. This week for me, financial flexibility means having more space so I’m not working from my son’s bedroom anymore.

02.01.2022 Found a moment, on the afternoon of the 31st to write down what I want from 2021. So much I don’t know, so much that I do. It’s my first time not having snazzy stationary (it’s on my to-do list), but feels good to get out of my head and written down. ... Thank you 2020.

02.01.2022 32 feels pretty good
