11.01.2022 My #homestudio Since Ive been working at my full time job all year I havent been able to get down to @theoccasionalstudio as much as I would like. But as many would know well, sometimes the need to make something and relax into that automatic process, cant be pigeon holed into set times. So its back to the pool room for me. Its funny but this little backyard studio was meant to be my art studio, all those years ago when we made it. But the kids were too young to leave in the house unattended, then The kids would get Tinto the paint if they were up here, so I moved down to the house. Then as my creating merged into the entire I moved down the street. But it seems I go full cycle. #studio #paintingstudio #cockatoo #nimbin

09.01.2022 Happy Fathers Day Dad! Last year when I visited him I did this portrait, his health was not the best after numerous Heart operations and I hoped it wasnt the last #fathersday This year I cant visit him due to the health of the nation #covid19 and I only wish we all had the heart to consider others before ourselves and take care of our vulnerable citizens. So even though I live in a border town bubble, I work out of that bubble so as much as I would like to see him in perso...n, I will not. They may be old but not only do they have a wealth of knowledge to share they have also done their part in making us who we are today and shaping our nation. Even if all the decisions made were not right for now, we have to believe they were right for the then. And any mistakes that were made in the context of the then, will not be repeated in the now. Lets grow as a nation in #kindness #compassion and #heart these are the real things to value in the world. See more
