25.01.2022 Repair made on an Auspex line in a wall feeding a shower. During the shower screen installation, the pipe was accidentally drilled through by a contractor. We always try and make things easy for everyone so damage was made to only one tile and not on the painted wall. This means a patch up is simple and stress free for the builder and any parties involved.

15.01.2022 We were called to a leaking sound on a ladies roof. When we arrived we found the solar unit had ruptured and we gave her many options for a solution to her problem. She decided to go with re-routing the pipes down the wall and installing a new gas unit on ground level. This means easy servicing and many years of trouble free hot water to come.

13.01.2022 Before and after pictures of a water repair on some old Hepworth water main. We use @reeceplumbing composite pipe Auspex to complete the repair because we know the product is tried and tested and backed by a great warranty.

12.01.2022 100mm Cast iron pipe to 100mm Vitrified clay earthenware pipe to 100mm PVC-U sewer pipe. No more tree roots and no more blocked drains. Do it once and do it properly. The product life expectancy is 50-70 years. Can you get much better then that ?

12.01.2022 Removal of this old bath due to leakage from below uncovered this dodgie waste connection. The previous plumber used silicone and a 40mm trap that had stresses on the top nut causing it come off over time. New bath to be installed and a proper plumb-dinger for a proper connection to the waste pipe.

11.01.2022 50mm and 40mm copper that had been damaged when a contractor installed some stormwater along side. We repaired the leak and wrapped in the ever so joyful denso tape to prevent future corrosion.

07.01.2022 Clearing some cyclone drains in a driveway of a block of units in Kelmscott. These drains can take a lot of water and real fast. Look how fast it takes all this ground water.... the catch is they need maintenance so leaf litter and other debris dont block up the outlets.

07.01.2022 Repairing a sewer line on a home in Ellenbrook. During the repair we decided to install a clean out point to surface for future access to the drain. Being the head of the line, it was a no brainer!

04.01.2022 A little 90 degree bend radius sewer pipe reline completed in Duncraig. The customers pipes were very deep at approx 3m below a jump up in the main line and the option of relining was chosen. This process meant we didnt have to dig a very large hole in their back yard costing big $$$ and inconveniences. With a pipe expectancy of 70 years, it was a no brainer! The existing pipe work was cracked at the base and was causing tree root intrusions leading to frequent blocked drains. 03.01.2022 Plastic composite pipes have come along way in the last 10 years. Our favourite product is Auspex by Reece. Theres a fitting for nearly all applications and even comes with a copper b-press adapter option. In all my years of plumbing Ive sworn by Auspex and never had a faulty fitting or pipe.

02.01.2022 Some 20mm TPR valves changed over on a hot water unit bank on a high rise building in Perth city. Notice the calcification blocking up the valve? This is why periodic maintenence is required to give your HWS as much life as you can.
