So many incredibly bright and intelligent little learning this morning @sparrowearlylearningcentres jacobs ridge It makes a huge difference I have found, when we can get the coming soon poster up on the door so the children can start to get familiar with RM before I arrive. ... 23.01.2022 My worm farm has prevented heaps of organic matter from ending up in landfill and has been put to much better use of feeding my worms. There is also the added benefit of 'worm wee'. This stuff is amazing to spray onto your herbs or vege patch. Worm farms! ... Brisbane council has a $70 rebate on purchasing a worm farm at the moment if you think it may be of use (it always is) in your household.

14.01.2022 Had such a brilliant show at this initimate centre. I had some of the youngest audience. I had three 10 month babies (only guessing) join in the show after being outside having lunch and showing a great deal of interest. The educator brought them over and they were quite mezmerized. One educator said how it was a big developmental stage of lifting up their upper body with their arms, while being on their belly is a real good indication that they were interested in what I wa...s about. Usually, I found I scared a bunch of toddlers Dude rocks in with a big shiny costume and a bit of a beard, its quite initimidating, as this age group isnt really introduced to the concept of superheroes. To have these 3 little ones as interested as they were, made it such a wonderful show. Also, Dillon, one of the older boys, remembered me from last year and straight away started asking about my magic thumb trick. I was impressed with how much he could recall from last year as well, so decided I would teach them the magic thumb trick. Hopefully, a few of them went home and tried to trick their parents.

12.01.2022 Kids on 4th and @bilikids were 2 centres I performed at this morning. For the last 3 years now, at the start on every November, I have performed my show at these centres. Each time I have arrived, the children are even more excited to see me. As we were going through the show at kidson4th we got to the part where we talked about trees and all the cool things that trees can do for our planet One of the things I always try to pass onto the children is that animals ... use trees for homes. It just so happened to be that they had a nest in one of their trees with a baby bird. So we all got up dressed in our costumes and went to investigate. I want to thank Theo (I think it was Theo) As we were putting the masks on the children (they already had the capes on from a previous game) Theo looks up at me with his mask on and says 'now we are little versions of you Recycleman' my heart melted and my day was made. Thanks Theo.

03.01.2022 It is such a privilege to be able to educate this age group with information that will help them make a more sustainable planet. It can be a bit of a difficult topic to get children excited and engaged enough, to want to learn about recycling and environmental awareness. This is why a Recycleman show is the perfect way to kick start your sustainability program at your child care centre by bringing in a superhero, that will make the children laugh while educating them on criti...cal environmental activities. Bringing 8 years of children's entertainment experience to the show, mixed with a genuine passion of trying to make a better place for us all to live, this show is sure to be a highlight of the year for the children. 02.01.2022 I had such a blast kicking off National Recycling Week here at Highfields Gardens Child Care Such big beautiful spaces to move around. The outdoor play area is as enchanting as I have ever seen. In the 3rd show, as I sit all the children down around me, I individually get the children to point to the triangle on the bottom of the bottle, I ask them to sit quietly and wait til their turn. This group, would have to be the most quiet group I have ever performed for. ... The whole morning was wonderful and filled with some huge big belly laughs throughout the morning, all while getting excited and learning about how we can better take care of our planet.
