25.01.2022 Like the federal govt who can simultaneously do nothing about Covid AND do nothing about a Federal ICAC, Victorians can also be super fed up and sick of lockdown (that’s me!) but also super supportive of a premier who is clearly trying to contain a virus outbreak to save the country from being over run by cases and deaths. (See rest of world). Am I happy? NO. Do I agree with Dan’s approach? Completely. #istandwithdan

25.01.2022 Just watched the Thornbury High year 12 award ceremony live streamed (thanks for another milestone event disrupted, Covid!) Was super impressed by the amazingly talented young adults being celebrated, and the great effort made to acknowledge the superb efforts of everyone involved in getting through this unique year... staff, families and a very resilient cohort of students. Very proud of our school community and congratulations to staff and students. And doesn’t the new performing arts building look great??! goodbye 2020

24.01.2022 Numbers are heading south and spring has sprung. Hope springs eternal. We can do it, Melbs. #wegotthis #istandwithdan

24.01.2022 Happy Easter peeps... hope the foil was sparkly and the chocolate delicious. Miss seeing actual faces but at least we have the socials. X

24.01.2022 Guerilla art... this guy has appeared on the hill, gazing mournfully at the plaza. Darebin council are stumped as to who and why. LOVE it #artlife @ All Nations Park

24.01.2022 Trying to get a bit of art back into my life after months of feeling blocked. Apparently I need some colour and flora!!! #artislife

23.01.2022 Life is a bit darker for everyone at the moment... we are realizing the value of our friends, families and our communities in a whole new way. Im going to try to regularly post some art because creativity is what makes life great. But Im not feeling very creative because Im an extrovert and lockdown aint my vibe at all. So it may just be past efforts but it may also get me inspired to dabble again. So, day one... In honor of Anzac Day... the humble poppy. #lockdownsux #artislife #tryingtostaypositive

22.01.2022 Just me and the dog at home today... for the first time since March!!!!! It’s been quite an adjustment having the whole family in my place of work all day every day... feeling oddly bereft. I’ve forgotten how to be alone

21.01.2022 Joining the masses in baking some bread. Mixed reviews but looks good and has excellent crust!

21.01.2022 Journal gerbera throwback. Hope youve had some yellow in your gray day. X

21.01.2022 Remember iso v1 when we were all in it together and everyone was learning to bake? Lets try and regain some of that. Everyone turning on each other only makes it so much worse. Every single person on the planet wants corona gone. Nobody wants anyone to die in pain and alone. Nobody wants someone they love to die in pain and alone. Nobody wants to get a wierd virus and possibly have ongoing ill effects for life. Some of us have to make decisions every day in the best interest...s of everyone, to try and get through this the best we can. Some of us have to go to work every day risking their own health and well-being and therefore that of their loved ones. If you are not one of those people, the best thing to do is hope they are right and do what they ask. At the very least keep your criticisms to yourself until we are through the worst of it ... the constant blame game makes it all so much worse. And if youre the leader of an entire country, this goes for you more than anyone. Argue as much as you like at your co-leaders behind closed doors but present a united front to your citizens. Rule 1 of leadership/parenting is a united front. And if youre running a gym that has to be closed at this tine, never fear. Demand will be at an all time high as soon as we reopen, with all the carb loading thats been going on!!! Enjoy the sunshine on your face, melbs and know this too shall pass.

20.01.2022 7am is a great daily podcast for news of the week style stories. Today is an interview with a young man who was accepted as a refugee by the US after 5 years on Manus. I challenge anybody to listen to him and still feel 100% proud to be Australian. What our country has allowed itself to become is shameful. Thank you 7am for the great job you do and thanks for sharing this story. And thank you for your honesty and good luck with a bright future Imran. Im sorry we treated you and so many others so appallingly.

20.01.2022 This week has been eleventy days long and there are still more!!!! Lifes a twisty trip my friends. #toomuchtodo

20.01.2022 Feet in saltwater at my favourite place... been dreaming of this for months. Great to leave the city. Thanks for your awesome work making it possible to live a Covid normal life, Vic!!

20.01.2022 Happy 18th birthday to @finnylewis ... tried our best to make an iso birthday as exciting as possible... got him a car, but it looked a lot bigger online, so he doesnt fit into it. He preferred the equally small soccer ball, anyway, so not much has changed. Hes a great kid and we love him... hes rolled with all the 2020 punches and keeps getting back up with his trademark grin. Love ya Finny. Proud mama. Glad to have brought up a good man... the world needs you. @ Northcote, Victoria

17.01.2022 Just a reminder that this evil lump fought for expanded powers to further ruin the lives of asylum seekers and other vulnerable people but when a threat actually docked at our shores..: his unwelcome department waved them ashore because they were rich white threats. #auspol #spud #thisgovtistheworst #freetherefugees #hometobilo

17.01.2022 I was definitely ahead of my time with this postcard idea... available at becyule.com if you want to send out some iso postcards!

15.01.2022 Doing some product shots this week and got a bit fancy! I’m good at creative, bad at numbers... having run my own business for nearly half my life, you’d think I could avoid tax bills but I’ve done it again. SO on the very polite advice of my accountant I have been researching accounting software. Yes, I do live a life full of adventure, thanks. I stumbled across a Melbourne company and went with them even though they didn’t have connectivity with my smallish credit union. Af...ter I signed up I sent them a little email request to consider adding my bank if they ever got around to it and had the client demand... within 10 hours I have received an email to say they have added it!!! That is the best customer service I have ever come across. Freelancers and people who hate doing ya books... get on it. #roundedaccounting @roundedaccounting See more
