20.01.2022 Our Prep, Grade 1 and Grade 2 students have had a wonderful return to school. Preps had a busy day yesterday, building their own cars, driving them, and enjoying a movie at their custom made drive in.

18.01.2022 Our Preps were delighted to receive a visit from Santa today. He hand delivered individual letters to each Prep, in reply to letters they had composed and sent to the North Pole. Our Grade 4/5 students were lucky enough to share in the magic of the season, by helping the Preps read their letters. Thank you also to the Red Cliffs Fire Brigade for swinging by and flashing their lights for us.

09.01.2022 Good morning everyone. Just a reminder that next Monday, 4th May, is the day to come to school to pick up your child’s corrected workbooks. They can be collected between 8.30am and 11am from your child’s classroom.
08.01.2022 A COMPASS notification was sent out to parents today with a survey link attached. In preparation for term 2 we require parents to log into the survey and complete the questions. 08.01.2022 The Prep and Grade 1 students had the chance to engage with an online Ecolink session today. Both the students at school and the students at home (via Webex) participated with an educator who taught them lots of facts about Australian dinosaurs. They also got to make a plasticine model and share it with their classmates. What a great learning opportunity.
08.01.2022 I am sure you would be aware by now of the transition to remote learning as of this Wednesday. School will be as usual tomorrow but Tuesday will be a pupil free day to allow staff to prepare. We will celebrate the Preps 100th school day tomorrow instead of the planned Tuesday. Please dont stress if you are not prepared with dress ups for the kids. If you are prepared though then tomorrow is the day to come dressed up as a 100 year old. More information will be shared with our community as it is available.

04.01.2022 Tomorrow we will be providing chicken noodle soup and cheese toasties for lunch for those students who would like them. There is no charge as we have excess left over from food deliveries this term.
03.01.2022 Our Grade 5 and 6 students have been engaged in Socratic Circles this semester. Using song lyrics and poems have allowed us to look closely and word choice and infer meaning, which has helped to develop our critical thinking and respectful communication skills. They have participated fully and we are incredibly proud of how well they have embraced this important element of Grade 5/6 Literacy.

01.01.2022 Some of our students have taken it upon themselves to help our school seperate our rubbish. With the introduction of the new green waste bin, students found this to be a prime opportunity to help educate everyone to make a positive impact on the environment.
