Our vocal coach, Miss Hannah has impressive credentials, holding a Bachelor of Musical Theatre from the Queensland Conservatorium, an Advanced Diploma of Acting from the Adelaide College of the Arts and is currently working on her Masters of Vocal Pedagogy, also at the Conservatorium. I believe in teaching singing holistically - it’s not just about singing big notes. In my lessons, ther...e is a big focus on music education (learning how to read and intrinsically understand music and rhythms, to harmonise, to improvise, to collaborate), storytelling, safe and sustainable vocal technique, and confidence-building. My mission as a teacher is to encourage my students to find their voices not only as singers, but as people. I know that not all of my students will go on to be professional singers, and it doesn’t matter.
