Groltin Tiefling Wild Magic Sorcerer... Artist: Sean Evans https://www.artstation.com/seanevans Born at the junction of ley lines, Groltin had an auspicious start to life. He soon discovered that magic had chosen him as a conduit of chaos, which he grew to lean into. He learned to control the raw power that surged through him and manifest it in new and interesting ways. He found humour in the pranking of others and became well reputed as a trickster, leaning into his infernal heritage to justify his actions. Eventually his village grew sick of his behaviour and gave him an ultimatum: either use his abilities for the benefit of his village or find another village to torment. So Groltin took his talents on the road, looking for ever more interesting ways to sow the seeds of chaos.

These playful creatures can be an interesting addition to your campaign or a terror to your players, especially if they encounter more than one. 15.01.2022 We took some time out to reassess and restructure, and we're nearly back. Next Monday we'll be announcing the way we're going to be handling Red Wizard Gaming going forward, including new games, events and competitions. 13.01.2022 Welcome back my friends. Sorry for the text wall, but we wanted to bring you up to speed with everything. Stay tuned to the end for a giveaway. We took some time to restructure and refocus and now we’re back. As part of this, we’re going back to focussing on what the original intention was, creating and running the most immersive and engaging gaming experiences we can manage. As such, we’ve been talking to numerous shops around Brisbane and here are the results. On Sunday Au...gust 2nd, we’re going to revive our D&D day at the Dice Spot in support instances of mental health, both close to home and in the wider public. Everyone has been in a difficult spot recently, some more than others. We’ve seen the beneficial psychological effects of roleplaying games, especially in relation to depression, anxiety and social difficulties. As such, we wanted to create a safe space for people that may be having some trouble with these. All are welcome and we hope to see as many people as we can on the day. This will be a free event, however we will have a place to give donations if you decide you wish to give. 100% of donations will be given to a charity that will be revealed closer to the date. We hope to see as many of you as possible. In addition to this, the Red Wizard Adventures gaming day that we’re organising in partnership with Ace Comics & Games in Annerley is happening again. Stay tuned for exact dates, but it will be in approximately 4 weeks. More details will be revealed in the coming days. Lastly, we’ll be scaling back our posting to Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Monday will be new content day. That could be new encounters, monster stat blocks, sub classes, just about anything. We’ll do our best to keep you guessing, but if there are any requests, we’re more than happy to oblige. Wednesday will remain unchanged, there are simply too many memes not to share. Friday will be our all-purpose day. If there’s any news to deliver, games to mention, collaborations, events, that’ll be our day to deliver. If there’s nothing coming, then you may get some extra content that week. We have a few collaborations and discussions in the works, leading to some potentially exciting gaming opportunities, both in person and digitally. 13.01.2022 Welcome everyone to the reworked Red Wizard Adventures. Now that the world is starting to return to normal, we're getting back into the swing of it. That being said, we'll be taking every hygiene precaution that we can to make sure this event is as safe as possible. Social distancing will be accounted for, hand sanitizer will be provided and all of the governments guidelines will be followed. At Red Wizard Gaming, we love bringing the game of Dungeons & Dragons to as many peo...ple as we can. As such, we've partnered with Ace Comics & Games to bring you a full afternoon of roleplay. Designed to last approximately 4 hours, this is a Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition one shot adventure for 5th level characters. If you're making your own character, stats will be using the standard point array and only options sourced from officially released materials will be accepted. This does not include Unearthed Arcana, Critical Role or homebrew content. If you've never made a character before or wish to give in to chance, there will be a wide selection of pregenerated characters available to choose from. Simply give them a name and you're good to go.

11.01.2022 Today’s character inspiration is inspired by a real-life situation and touches on darker themes. We may experience some difficult times in our lives and it may be that we’re the only ones that can bring us out of the dark, but there is always a way out. The road may be long and difficult, but it’s there. Jakaby Human Bard Artist: Zach Selleck https://www.artstation.com/zach_selleck... https://www.instagram.com/zselleck/ Tortured and broken, Jakaby has scars covering most of his body. He doesn’t remember where he started in life, all he knows is that dark room and the feeling of pain. One day he heard new screams of agony, screams that didn’t belong to him. He gathered himself in a way he didn’t know how, steeled his resolve and overwhelmed his torturer. In his escape, he found the young woman that had been captured and together they found their freedom. Whilst travelling from place to place, he heard a wandering minstrel give a performance. The audience was excited and happy to hear the playful music, which in turn put a smile on his face, as well as that of his companion. He approached the minstrel about perhaps learning the craft, reasoning that if music could make him smile after everything he’d been through, perhaps he could share that joy with others and help people smile against their own demons.

Just a reminder that we'll down at The Dice Spot this Sunday for our Battle against the Dark D&D day, where the focus is on providing support and friendship for those who may be suffering from mental illnesses such as depression or anxiety. This is a completely free event, there are no tickets and we will accommodate as many as we can at the venue. If you feel so inclined, there will also be somewhere to donate to the Black Dog Institu...te, which we will match dollar for dollar. We'll also be running a module created by the Take This organisation, written by licensed psychiatrists and psychologists, as well as genuine fans of the game. Just a reminder, this is not intended to be a clinical session, it is simply a place for people to come and spend time with those that might understand what they're going through a little better than most. Inspired by a character from the Dream Stream Reality series by Derrick Burke Author, Amity/Enmity presents an interesting option for your players to interact with. The duplicitous nature between the two halves makes any encounter with this being unpredictable, to say the least. Amity/Enmity Artist: Yutthaphong Kaewsuk https://www.artstation.com/kamiyama... Amity is the beacon of hope from Mount Celestia. She seldom leaves her home, only venturing forth in times of great mortal need. If she feels the need to be great enough, she will defy the rules of the celestials and save those involved. There is a volatility involved though, owing to the duplicitous nature of her soul. In certain adverse situations, Amity’s personality will give way, leading to a complete transformation, as well as the emergence of Enmity, the embodiment of her darker side. Her rage and hatred for the mortal creatures she is required to care for take the fore and her wrath takes a frightening physicality. Before the global pandemic, we were trying to organise a day of roleplaying games on which the emphasis was coming together to fight against the mental illnesses that some of us face every day. We're over the moon to announce that this day is back on the books. The Dice Spot was kind enough to help us with the space for this event and we'd love to see all of you there, or at least as many as social distancing will allow. If this event is popular enough, the hope is to make it a regular occurrence.

04.01.2022 Good morning all. We're looking forward to seeing as many as we can make their way to this event on Saturday. If you're able to make it, we'll have the tables spare. If you're feeling generous, there'll also be a place to make donations to the Black Dog Institute, a charity that does amazing work supporting people battling with depression and other mental illnesses. For anyone planning to make it down and looking to make their own character, we'll be aiming for characters of... level 3, using officially released books. If you have any further questions about creation, don't hesitate to ask. If you don't know how to make a character or aren't able to before the game, we'll have a number of premade characters available to use; all you'll need to do is give them a name. One of the games being played on the day will be an adventure called Garden of Fog, written by the Take This organisation with input from Dr. Rafael 'Doctor B.' Boccamazzo, PsyD.
