"Alfonsina ye el Mar" Alfonsina Storni (1892-1938) was a teacher, journalist and poet who inspired the so famous song Alfonsina y el Mar in which her slow suicide is narrated, gradually entering the sea until she finally drowns. This piece is one of the most representative works of Argentine musical culture.
