09.01.2022 A pretty cool and relivant study for me right now as I'm partially disabled with my left arm not in use. This paper shows that training the non injured side can help spare strength and muscle size on the injured side through what is known as "cross education". Take home - If you have an arm or leg out of action for a few weeks or months then training one side will certainly help minimize muscle wasting and loss of strength on the injured side.... If this is you then hit me up for a session as there's usually always something you can do



06.01.2022 Is your current plan to achieve your goals set up correctly? When I first have a consultation with someone the first thing I do is ask a series of questions to gather information. What are their specific goals?... What is their lifestyle like? What does their current training and nutrition look like? How long have they been trying to achieve these goals for? This information allows me to identify any holes in their current plan and 99% of the time there are many holes.There are many different methods to achieving the same goal but sometimes there are methods that are simply wrong and inefficient. Exercise selection matters Nutrition matters Adherence matters Recovery matters And most importantly CONSISTENCY MATTERS That means multiple perfect days, weeks and months in a row that are strung together.
