16.01.2022 This Sunday November 29th we are back with the full Reforming Morning service in Reforming House! Thanks be to God! You won't need to reserve your seats, just come and check-in at the front door. Easy as that! And we'll be finishing the Book of Acts, from the episode in Acts 28.... Also, we're going to host an all-in church working bee on this coming Saturday (Nov 28th), from 7am to no later than 12pm. We're going to spring-clean church house for our church family to enjoy gathered worship inside again. Lastly, in celebration of God's grace to us in the gospel, proclaiming and praising Christ who saves and gathers us - we are going to share communion in the Lord's Supper. We have purchased a COVID-Safe Lord's Supper pack of sealed cups and wafers to remember Jesus together. There will be a gluten-free option as well. It's good to be back, God is good and gracious.

06.01.2022 I am not a natural optimist. This means that when I go through hard times, when I go through the storms of life, when I find myself in the valley of the shadow... sometimes all I see is this darkness. Do you know what that is like?... That line, "sometimes all I see is this darkness", comes from a song I like, and we'll hear more on Sunday as we come together in love and care for one another. It may well be that you are an optimist, at least natural-born. Yet it may also be that you can see the not-so-optimistic around you, who need your care. We’re all the same and yet different in some way. And whilst others can always seem to naturally see the way out, sometimes all I see is this darkness. It is in this moment that Acts 27 is for me, for us, and we will hear God's voice this Sunday from these words in Scripture, together. God is so good, and His word in season and out of season is so good for us. As well as this, our church family continues in the season of Board of Management elections, please also pray for the Board as they prepare to implement the auditorium works as soon as possible. Also please pray for Christmas preparations in a "COVID-normal" season too. Finally friends, please remember to go to reformingchurch.org and reserve your seats!
