25.01.2022 I am going to go with the stable horse tomorrow at Flemington which is at good odds. Stretto is a very consistent colt by Nicconi which is running out of his skin at the moment. His performance in the Silver Bowl (Flemington) last start was first class and loved the way he held on after being caught out a sitting duck at the 400m. He is rock hard fit and if he can keep up to this form - he should give a good sight.... Flemington Rc6 No.9 Stretto(win) $10

24.01.2022 Blue Sky and a good track predicted tomorrow has given me great confidence tomorrow with a very talented galloper in form. Coming back from a 73 week break through injury, he is only now coming up to his peak fitness levels, but impressively put away a good field at Flemington last start. He has been well placed with a definitive preference for good ground and tomorrow should be perfect.... Caulfield Rc7 No.6 Sikorsky(win) $2.20

24.01.2022 Going to make my investment nice and early tomorrow at the newly rennovated Mooney Valley Track. Sense Of Honour resumes and will prove to be a handful for her competition on Saturday. She won eased down by 3 lengths in a very impressive display at Sandown on debut back in January.... After this run, she was given a spell to mature and strengthen. She is back to the races tomorrow after an impressive 1100m jumpout. She should prove very hard to beat tomorrow. Mooney Valley Race 1 No.6 Sense Of Honour(win)$3.80

22.01.2022 Tough week but i am going to wait till race 4 at Flemington and go with Tavidance. This son of Tavistock missed the start and had a torrid run - travelling 5 & 6 wide during transit and around the bend at Caulfield. However, with all these factors playing against, he still found the line solidly enough. ... Drawing the inside rail this time, he should get a much cosier run and if he can maintain his form and have a little luck, should be taking this out. Flemington Rc4 No.10 Tavidance (win) $2.80

22.01.2022 Going with a little value this weekend and put my trust in a Super horse coming back into racing after a failed stud career. Its been a year since he last raced. He has been gelded and been primed with two solid trials - winning the last against some class gallopers such as Super Seth. I usually would keep away when seeing such patterns but he is a Randwick Guineas winner. ... I just like the way he trialled last time out and if he can find the form he was at when he was a 3YO, he will put this field away quite easily. Randwick Rc5 No.1 Kementari (win) $6.00

22.01.2022 This is not going to seem super courageous, but at the same time I cant wait to see a very smart Stayer on the rise from Melbourne, come to Sydney and make his presence felt. Cadre Du Noir put away a smart field eased down by 5lengths at Sandown after over racing in middle stages in a truly classy display. As the distances increase, I can only see him improving. If he brings anywhere near the form last start here, he will give an awesome sight. ... Rosehill Race 1 No.3 Cadre Du Noir (win) $1.90

22.01.2022 Like the looks of a very smart mare competing in Caulfield Rc3 tomorrow. Her last two runs have been victory here in the Oakleigh Plate then a solid fourth behind Loving Gaby in the William Reid Stakes. She comes back fresh and meets a much easier class tomorrow in a set weights and penalties race. Drawn a little awkward but with even luck should be too strong.... Caulfield Rc3 No.2 Pippie (win) $2.10

21.01.2022 Matt was showcasing two handsome young colts... Wonder who they could be?

20.01.2022 Pretty hard not to tip the King tomorrow in the Andrew Ramsden. He should become the first horse this year to qualify for the Melbourne Cup and provide a chance for Danny OBrien to train back to back winners in this race. In tremendous form winning the Adelaide Cup with ease, and possessing a tremendous turn of foot for a stayer - he should prove very difficult to beat. Flem Rc6 No.2 King of Leogrance (win) $2.70

20.01.2022 Here is our Nicconi x Miss Twin Peaks colt at Rosemont. This video was taken only a week after the sale and the day he arrived at Rosemont. Since then he has been through the breakers and has done remarkably well. As you know i am a big fan of Nicconi and I leave this open to you whether you could find a much better type than this boy.... You can learn more about him here: https://www.horseracingshares.net/nicconixmtw

19.01.2022 Going to wait to race 4 at Mooney Valley and go with a very consistent galloper by Reset. He went terrific first up when giving weight to the smart Showmanship where he hit the line hard to only be beaten half a length. He loves Moonee Valley and he now steps to his pet distance. If he can get some luck when he makes his run, he should be taking this out.... Mooney Valley Rc4 No.6 Junipal (win) $2.60

18.01.2022 I cant wait till the TAB Classic at Morphettville tomorrow. A great F&M GP1 and I am going to go with my heart and choose Away Game. This is one super filly. Many people are critical on the current crop of 2YO but time does not lie. In addition to this, I havent seen many fillys tougher than her. She wins the Magic Millions, 2nd in the Slipper and put in a gut buster 4th in the Diamond after tracking wide up front on the pace... she looked gone at the 200m but fought back ...there for 4th. I am a little concerned about the amount of travel and campaign planning... but she does not know how to put in a bad race. She draws a great barrier (4) and carries 47kg. She will give an awesome sight. Morphettville Rc8 No.16 Away Game (win) $4.50

18.01.2022 I am going to wait to Rc8 Caulfield and going with a horse that is building up very nicely. Creedence beat a smart field at Flemington last start which was no fluke. There was a couple of very handy gallopers in form against him that day, and he put them to the sword. Now that we are getting over 2000m, he will only go better and a Soft 6 wont bother him in the slightest. Same Jockey and stable (Cumani) absolutely flying at the moment. ... Happy to take the odds on offer. Caulfield Rc8 No.9 Creedence (win) $8.20

16.01.2022 A terrific Caulfield Guineas this year. A real stallion making race, and there is a tremendous field out to claim this title. I am going to stick with Tagaloa. This colt was super impressive when he won the Blue Diamond earlier in the year and i think there is alot of merit in his defeats in recent runs against mature horses. The Sydney raiders Ole Kirk and King's Legacy have great stats coming into this as well as Vic galloper Crosshaven with 4 wins out of 5.... However, I see Tagaloa slotting in perfectly from this draw (on the fence or one off) trailing the leader and if he maintains form, i think he can take it a nice odds. Caulfield Rc8 No.1 Tagaloa(win) $5.60

16.01.2022 Pretty hard this weekend with heavy tracks in Sydney and at least slow 7 at Caulfield tomorrow. Going to stick with a very smart colt in the making. North Pacific made a fantastic debut starting in Silver Slipper (Gp2) only being beaten by Farnan (Golden Slipper winner) and Global Quest on a slow track. He was then spelled and came back 5 weeks ago and toyed with his competitors at Rosehill winning by 2.5 lengths and running the best final 600m of the day at this distance.... This smart Brazen Beau colt will appreciate the extra ground and should be taking this out. Rand Rc7 No.2 North Pacific (win) $2.30

16.01.2022 This is the face of perhaps the most luckless galloper in Melbourne. Has huge talent to find widest barriers, sudden torrential downpours and can sniff out and be involved in all scrimmages & checks during final stages of races. Well... its all going to change tomorrow! We have drawn barrier 5, and were putting our game face on! Lets pray we can have a nice celebration picture posted of our boy Jenkins tomorrow

16.01.2022 With more rain expected in Sydney, we will be seeing at least a slow 5 tomorrow at Randwick. These conditions will play in favour of very consistent galloper fulmina whom is second up tomorrow. Last start she came 10 wide on the turn from the rear of the field and made up at least 10 lengths to narrowly miss in 3rd place over 1500m. Another 50m and she would have won. She recorded best overall sectionals of the day and the best last 800m. Tomorrow being 1600m will ideally suit her and this class is no harder. Randwick Rc5 No.4 Fulmina (win) $2.80

14.01.2022 Very difficult meeting and heavy tracks predicted at the Valley. Going to get my investment on early. Not great dividends on offer, but i will go with the Sydney mare which won has 3 of her last 4 starts in Sydney and now looking to make it 4 with a win down South. She handles all conditions and as honest as they come. ... MV Race 2 No.4 Tailleur (win) $1.70

14.01.2022 The Queen Elizabeth Stakes is going to be a real spectacle tomorrow. We are in for a real treat! I am really excited to see and will be sticking with the Japanese raider - Danon Premium. This is Danons first start in Australia. His first start in 20 weeks and has never raced on the wet. ... However.... he has won 6 from 10 starts in Japan and also beaten a horse called Lys Gracieux in their only contest against each other over 2000m. Thats enough for me. Lys Graciux was at a different level to our horses under WFA when she demolished us in the Cox Plate last year. This horse gave her a kilogram and beat her. If he is anywhere near that form, unfortunately we are not in the same game at WFA conditions. Randwick Rc8 No.1 Danon Premium (win) $4.00

14.01.2022 The Big O - Our Regal Warrior well underway in his fairytale comeback. Once spruiked as potentially one of the most talented Sprinters coming through the ranks... he has proven to be potentially the toughest! Escaping a life threatening cancer multiple times - 2 years on and 8 operations later... loving life and bursting at the seams to get back on the track. ... Please let us back on the track when Big O takes his place.... No horse deserves it more!

13.01.2022 My favourite race of the year and i am going to go with Arcadia Queen. As a 3YO (2018) she was virtually unstoppable and ran up to a level of Timeform Rating 121 when she won the GP1 Kingston Town Stakes. Last year she settled to race over the shorter distances to aim at the Everest. She raced well but never reached these peaks. This year she has been set for the Cox Plate as her Grand Final which is much more aligned to her pedigree. She was super in the Underwood when sh...e went up the inside that was the worst going and ran a gallant 3rd. The bar plates were taken off for her run in the Caulfield Stakes and she beat her competitors racing well within herself - also matching her previous best - Timeform Rating 121. If it was a good track, i have no doubts she would win... all things being even. However, people are writing her off in the wet. Not really sure this is warranted. She has only had two starts on wet going for a 3rd (terrific run in Underwood) and a 5th last year beaten by 2.5 lengths over 1400m. Happy to take better odds: MV Rc9 No.9 Arcadia Queen (win) $6.00

12.01.2022 It was a very hard decision as i find it difficult to tip against a mare that is in great form. However, i am going to place my investment this week in the Flight Stakes on Hungry Heart. She has been beaten fair and square by Dame Giselle in previous two starts. However, i think that perhaps distance might just tip the result around in Hungry Heart's favour this time round. It is going to be very close.... Randwick Rc5 No.2 Hungry Heart(win) $2.50

12.01.2022 Will go with the Mick Price Gelding whom appears to have plenty of upside - Tavidance. He has been badly held up in his previous two runs and could easily 4 wins from last 5 starts. D.Oliver onboard this time and with even luck, should be picking up the cheque. Pakenham Rc5 No.8 Tavidance (win) $2.60

11.01.2022 Over the last few months, I have been working behind the scenes with Matt, Andrew and the team to build a new level of visibility and access for all our family involved at Regal. Regal Azmon is our first galloper to be introduced and filmed via our Rider Cam. He is going terrific, and even looks better from the perspective of being on board with him.... Hope you enjoy and plenty more to come.

11.01.2022 I am looking forward to Rc5 Randwick tomorrow to see a smart Victorian galloper come up and crash the party. Masked Crusader looks to have the class to quickly progress through the grades and think that the long demanding Randwick Straight will only benefit him. Randwick Rc5 No.14 Masked Crusader(win) $1.95

10.01.2022 I think we are starting to work out a nice little System here. All you need to do is add the word Rocket somewhere in the name......... Wow! Regal Rocket. This colt is running out of Sparring partners real fast!

10.01.2022 Win!!!! Jenkins!!! At long last we got the conditions, barrier and some clear air in the straight. Jenkins showed his appreciation by showing us what he can do. Many thanks to all the faithful involved. So happy for you today and this race will be a great platform towards better things

09.01.2022 Always difficult times towards the end of the Carnival. Looking at a bit of value with a very honest gelding taking his place in the Sandown Stakes. Junipal rarely runs a bad race and comes down into class to a race where he is highly competitive. It should be an exciting race. Looking forward to seeing Kenya blazing the turf and setting up some very good pace up front. ... I think this will play things right into the hands of Junipal whom should get a great run in transit and be able to finish off the race strongly for the win Sandown Rc5 No.3 Junipal (win) $4.30

09.01.2022 Tough times at Home Base Ballarat over the past few days. Check out the snow! Does not look to have bothered my lovely So You Think x Fading Shades filly (on inside rail furthest from camera). Regally bred (shares same pedigree cross of Frankel, Pierro, Tuesday Joy & DArgento) but does not seem to mind rolling her sleeves up - this being her first step up in work.... Accounted for herself very nicely against an older much more mature partner - thank you very much. I have some more details about her if you like to learn more: https://www.horseracingshares.com/soyouthinkfs Love to know your thoughts

09.01.2022 Going to invest in Race 4 at the Valley this Saturday. It has been 39 weeks since we last saw her, but she has a pretty impressive CV. Brooklyn hustle has the scalp of Yes Yes Yes (The winner of the Everest) when she won Super Vobis 2YO Plate. She has never raced lower than Listed company and mostly featured in GP1s and GP2s finishing no worse than 5th. In this competition she finished within 2 lengths of the winner in the majority of her runs. She is competing in a Bm78 ...tomorrow with her toughest competition averaging 6k prize money per race. Thats a rather big drop in class and if she is anywhere near right - it would be hard to see her get beaten here. M.V Race 4 No.4 Brooklyn Hustle (win) $2.80

08.01.2022 With a heavy track expected on the Kensington track tomorrow, will be investing on the tough 4YO gelding Edison. Looking to make it 3 wins in a row, Edison will have no problem on the wet surface and will race up front minimizing much of the trouble in transit. Going to take a good horse to beat him if he maintains form. Kensington Rc5 No.2 Edison (win) $2.20

08.01.2022 Jenkins on Target with a strong hitout.....

07.01.2022 Tricky conditions over the weekend with heavy tracks expected both in Sydney and Melbourne. Going with a smart filly that has hit form for Bjorn Baker - Miss Einstein. She finished last preparation in grand style winning her last two races. ... This time in she has performed extremely well with her last start being inconvenienced but going very close. If history is a guide, she improves steadily each run and handles heavy well. She should prove very hard to beat tomorrow. Randwick Rc6 No.10 Miss Einstein (win) $3.70

07.01.2022 Well this is not what you see everyday! This is our So You Think x Fading Shades filly lining up and getting the better of a couple of mature Snitzels in her first taste at fast work. A So You Think bred for distance doing that early! ... Thats enough for now. Give her a 4-6 weeks off to build into her big frame. More about her pedigree and details if you would like to be involved: https://www.horseracingshares.com/soyouthinkfs

06.01.2022 Great to see the Rocket back in full swing again. After an extended break after a few injury setbacks - its good to see our boy back strong and showing the same vigour as the old days.

06.01.2022 Brazen Beau x Legal Mistress. Video says it all... a real quality colt. A spitting image of his father - Brazen Beau. The way he walks... in all of my 20+ years in the game, I could only suggest a handful that move with the fluidness and grace of him. Completed first phase of breaking in and now looking forward to a few weeks down time at home base - Rosemont Stud.

06.01.2022 Super exciting program this weekend. Our boy Jenkins will take his place at the start of the program and I am sure he is going to make his presence felt. He is racing so well and with a few things going his way, I am sure he will give the Grand Handicap a real shake. But my tip for the weekend is in Race 3 and with a 3YO colt called Endanger. ... This boy takes a little to wind up, but when he gets the engines moving he gives an almighty sight. 1400m will be appreciated. He is coming in this race nice and fresh and if he gets some room at the critical stages, he should be too strong. Caulfield Rc3 No.6 Endanger (win) $4.50

06.01.2022 Win!!!!! Regal Rossa. Super proud of our girl today. She is so tough and deserved this win. As always, she had to earn it the hard way. However, our man Fred summed it up beautifully by getting her moving at the right time and got her nose out in the clear at the 200m. One thing we know, when you give our girl a chance, she will do the rest. ... Congratulations to the great group of partners whom are involved with our girl. Onwards and Upwards See more

06.01.2022 Going to wait till late in the day and be supporting one of my old mates returning back to the track and with a trainer change. The Inevitable has a tremendous record first up and at Flemington and has performed in much harder grades than this. Theres not much of him, but what he lacks in size he makes up in heart. Flemington Rc7 No.1 The Inevitable(win) $2.70

05.01.2022 Very tough day tomorrow, but i am happy to take the each way odds and go for Chapada to make it back-to-back wins at Flemington. This race looks very similar in class to last start and again he should get a nice run in transit. If this is the case and he gets some free air in the straight, he should be a little too quick for them Flemington Rc6 No.4 Chapada (win) $4.80

04.01.2022 Will be sticking to Rosehill and good tracks and will be supporting a very smart So You Think colt resuming. Peltzer is undefeated 3 from 3 and includes the scalp of Anders whom is competing in this same race and looking to put 4 back to back wins together. Doubtland, a magnificently bred Not a Single doubt also resuming and undefeated will be sitting behind and waiting to launch through the later stages.... An awesome San Domenico of high quality, but i will be sticking with Peltzer to get us home. Randwick Rc5 No.5 Peltzer (win) $3.70

04.01.2022 Going to go with a very smart import having his second start in Australia. Almania is a class stayer whom would be regarded as at least a Group 2 class stayer in Australia based on his performances in UK. His first start at Flemington was super. Inconvenienced at a vital time up the straight - cost him the race, losing by a headbob. He would have taken alot from this race and if he gets some clear passage should get the job done. Bowman keeps the ride which is a bonus. ... Rosehill Race2 No.2 Almania (win) $2.70

04.01.2022 Tremendous run from Jenkins today at Sandown. He was coming in fresh after his little setback, missing out on a few crucial gallops. Probably cost him at the end, but certainly made his presence felt today. Massive improvement from last start and plenty of excitement in the camp - as we are just starting to warm him up.

03.01.2022 What a fantastic lineup for the Mackinnon Stakes this year. I will be sticking with our girl Arcadia Queen. She ran a terrific race in the Cox Plate after clipping heels at the 1000m and losing a plate on a wet track which was not ideal. She will be back on the top of the ground and should not have to work too hard in transit from a great starting position. ... If she gets in the clear at the right time, she should be able to avenge her last start defeat. Flemington Rc8 No.9 Arcadia Queen(win) $3.20

03.01.2022 Going to head to Coolmore Stud Stakes and stick with Farnan. His trials were excellent prior to the Gp2 Run to the Rose. The race was a total forget... after being forged ahead at an insane tempo. He did incredibly to lose just over 3.5L in a very slick field. That was almost 8 weeks ago and we have not seen him since his excellent trial in Gosford where he beat the second runner by almost 6L and this galloper put a further 6 lengths on the next.... Totally different situation here, but if he gets anywhere close to his best... i think $5 is a nice price. Flemington Rc6 No.1 Farnan (win) $5.00

02.01.2022 Will wait for the Bletchingly Stakes tomorrow and go with Viridine. Viridine won the Winter Dash in Sydney and then ran a gallant 2nd to Jungle Ruler in the John Monash Stakes on a heavy 8 last start. Expecting the ground to be a little firmer this time and an extra 100m should reverse the tables. Will have a good watch and cheer for She Shao Fly as there is plenty of nice people involved in this horse.... However will go with Caulfield Rac7 No.4 Viridine (win) $3.60

02.01.2022 Very hard days racing with wet tracks forecast in both Melbourne and Sydney. Have decided to go with a smart galloper on the rise and ready to show his best. Mr Dependable is ready to win after two strong performances since resuming and he looks ready to take the next step and get his win tomorrow. He was a good fourth when resuming over 1300m after racing wide. Then he led them up and gave a great sight under 58kg to be run down only late over the Randwick 1600m. ... With those two runs under his belt he should be right at his peak for 1800m and dropping to 54kg he should be right in the zone to take this one out. Randwick Rc4 No.7 Mr Dependable(win) $2.60

02.01.2022 Some pretty difficult fields to line up in Sydney and Melbourne, so i am going to follow a bright upcoming Sydney galloper which is making a raid in Queensland. Bjorn Baker is no stranger around Qld Carnival time and i am guessing he is timing Frosty Rocks run perfectly on the back of a strong first up win at Randwick. Handles the wet and you would not think this field is any stronger than his last start. Eagle Farm Rc8 No.3 Frosty Rocks (win) $2.50

02.01.2022 Its going to be tough, but how could i not choose the champ for the T J Smith Stakes. Of course I am going for Nature Strip. I was out bidded at the Premier Sales for him... but no hard feelings. Love this horse. On his day, he is unbeatable. ... He has some challenges tomorrow. 1200m is a stretch but C.Waller has really changed some things around to get him to stretch out. Big danger is Pierata. It was a tremendous return only beaten by 2 lengths and the way this race will be run - will be set up for him. However. I am sticking with Nature Strip and taking a deep breath over the last 100m. Randwick Rc8 No.1 Nature Strip(win) $4.00

01.01.2022 Will be waiting for the Sir John Monash Stakes at Caulfield and sticking with a tough galloper hitting some form and having a few kg weight relief. The race sets up nicely with a bit of pace coming from Tavisan and Jungle Edge. Not a large field so i expect to see Viridine start to look outside for some clear galloping room from the 400m and then let down nicely at the 200m to come over the top of them. Caulfield Rc7 No.2 Viridine(win) $2.80

01.01.2022 Looking forward to some great racing tomorrow. Will be sticking to Flemington and going with a very tough gelding whom is fit, relishes the wet and has hit some nice momentum and form. Arty Lucas swam on the Heavy surface at Ballarat last start - cruising to victory by 3 lengths in a great display of class. There is a few favoured in the market ahead of this boy... but they are in most part unproven on wet surfaces. ... They will want to be on their game tomorrow - otherwise our boy Arty will quickly sweep this race from under their noses. Flemington Rc7 No.10 Arty Lucas (win) $7.50
