24.01.2022 More on Erynne's Reiki journey from her Reiki Master/Teacher and friend Tiffany. "When Erynne first contacted me to say that she wanted to learn Reiki, I was very humbled and excited. Erynne explained that she was blind and wanted to know if she could still learn Reiki. I told Erynne that she most certainly could learn Reiki and I would modify the training to suit her. I organised a one-on-one training day for Erynne and when I first met her, I was amazed at what a confid...ent and beautiful soul she was. To help Erynne learn about Reiki, I utilised a lot of physical hands-on practical explanations and allowed Erynne to practice as much as she needed to, in order to feel comfortable and confident with it. When I was explaining the Reiki symbols that I had attuned her with, I wanted to find a way that she could ‘feel’ the symbols, so that she could connect with them. I had the idea of printing out the symbols and outlining them using little diamante stickers. I put the symbols into a little photo album. On one side I had the symbol and on the other side I had printed out the explanation of the symbol. For Erynne’s Reiki Level 2 training, she returned with a recording device. The device comes with little round voice label stickers. To use the recording device, you touch the device to one of the little label stickers then start talking. This allows a person to listen back at any time simply by touching the recording device to the label sticker and the recording will play. I placed a label sticker at the top of each symbol description in the album and voice recorded the name of the symbol and what the symbol is used for. Now Erynne could ‘feel’ the symbol and listen to the meaning of the symbol. Erynne has just recently completed her Reiki Master Teacher attunement and I am so proud of her accomplishment! Erynne’s ability to channel and direct Reiki energy is amazing. Erynne is very intuitive and I believe that her other senses are so much stronger. After Takata's passing, her daughter Alice Takata Furumoto preserved her personal belongings a treasure trove of notebooks, photos, letters, recordings, gifts from her teacher Chujiro Hayashi, and even an original Reiki table. 20.01.2022 Does what you're feeling belong to you? Being an empath can be a gift, you can feel the unique internal events of another and experience them as your own. This allows a deep understanding of what the other is going through, as if you are seeing things through their eyes. There is a flip side to this however. While experiencing an others joy can be a delight, experiencing an others distress can be quite painful.... Distress is not as easy to process as joy and often we sense it and hold onto it, until the distress intertwines to become our own. Our free flowing energy then can become blocked and prevent us from being able to process and release. Utilising Reiki to clear these blocks so that energy can flow freely and be processed is extremely beneficial for empaths. 20.01.2022 Reiki is for all When Erynne was seeking a Reiki master to train her in the healing art of Reiki she wondered whether being blind would impact her ability to remember the symbols. It didn't... Erynne's passion and Tiffany's clever use of diamanté's allowed Erynne to master the symbols and become attuned as a Reiki Master/Teacher. In Erynne's words: "I played with the idea of Reiki training for many years, I couldn’t seem to find the right person to train with though. One of my friends had just done her level one training with Tiffany and was telling me all about it. I knew I had to get in touch with her. It was the best thing I ever did! I was welcomed with pleasure and it was a beautiful experience! I wasn’t sure how I’d go with the symbols; I wasn’t going to be able to remember what they looked like, or which ones to use. Then Tiffany had the brilliant idea of outlining them with diamanté's. It was perfect! Then we used a voice recording device I have and recorded the symbols’ purpose and meaning. So, as you can see, nothing was a problem. Everything that would have seemed challenging to lots of people was made possible by an outstanding teacher and some sparkly diamanté's! 18.01.2022 People can lash out when struggling with inner turmoil. They can be cruel, speaking words and behaving in ways they know will hurt you, attempting to deplete your energy to their level of vibration. Forgive them even if they do not offer an apology or do the necessary work to heal themselves. Forgiveness is a powerful tool for maintaining self harmony. This is not always easy, following the Reiki precepts can guide you, here are a couple of examples. They will say and do t...hings with the intent to make you feel bad about yourself. Honing in on your insecurities and attacking areas in your life that you are working on. This can lead to worry and self doubt. Please do not worry. The fact that they are attacking your self growth and healing journey is a good indication that you are making good progress. They want you on their frequency and feel this is threatened as your self growth raises your vibration. Do not allow anger to infect your spirt. Harbouring anger fogs the mind and responding with anger allows them to continue their attack while you are unable to think and process clearly. If they are seeking to anger you it is probably because they are angry themselves. Foggy minds unable to process information do not lead to rational and considerate conversation, hence why these arguments usually go in circles. Forgive them. Realise that their attack on you has nothing to do with you. Their internal wounds have gone unaddressed and they don't know how to process and respond to their inner turmoil. Let's hope they find a path to heal and be at peace.
